Race Week at Talladega Super Speedway.

The Staff was super nice to all Nascar Fans. They posted big Welcome Signs and Door Prizes for Race Fans & Gift Bags on Saturday & Sunday. I'll stay here again no doubt. The Microtel Albertville is also only 20 minutes from Lake Guntersville State Park. We rented a boat at Town Creek Rentals and had a wonderful time. Staff at Resort and Town Creek are awesome. 5 Stars to them

Excellent Small Town hotel

We book Microtel when we visit Sand Mountain because of the super convenient location, over-the-top friendly staff, and excellent competitive pricing.

Guntersville Fishing Trip

Fishing trip. Good hotel near Lake Guntersville. Boat hookups. Friendly service and plenty of restaurants nearby...many within walking distance. Would stay again.

Great stay

I was very impressed with the service. Wendy at the front desk was awesome, she was polite cheerful enjoys her job. I checked in early, at 12:30, and my room was already ready. I went out to the car to get my stuff, and put it in the room, and I set out on my journey. When I came back. I could hear the guy in the next room, he had a deep voice and it carried, through the door because it was an adjoining room, I went to the desk and Wendy was more than happy to get another room for me. That is what makes great customer service. I will definitely choose this hotel if I'm in the area

Great staff. Wendy should get a raise! Answered all my questions immediately and was able to change a reservation to exactly what I needed. I don't think I've ever met a more friendly hotel clerk.

Smokey

Even though I was on a "non-smoking" floor, the smell of smoke was overwhelming. As soon as I got out of the elevator, I was hit with smoke. They also forgot to clean my room one day.

I really appreciate your review! I take these very seriously and looked into this matter. Unfortunately we did have to charge someone a $200 fee for smoking on the 2nd floor. I'm so sorry about that. I did pull the housekeeping sheets for the 4 days you were here and the housekeeper said you were asleep. I'm sorry your room didn't get cleaned. We try very hard not to have any cleaning issues. Hope you'll come back and give us another try! Liz & staff :)

Clean, comfortable room and excellent staff!

Pros: clean, great staff, reasonably priced, good breakfast
Cons: can't think of anything
When I arrived for a friend's funeral, my room wasn't ready. The staff jumped in and gave me another room that was ready and it was larger and nicer than the one I had booked. Since I was in town for 5 days, it was great to have a nice room to return to every day after visiting with friends and family. While my visit was for a sad reason, the hotel was nice and the staff was great. Thank you!
