Dance Recital

Posted Apr 25, 2016
Pros: The staff was awesome.
Cons: I was going to let the management know that the tub did not drain properly, but I had to leave in a rush and didn't get a chance.
The Doubletree is a good place to stay especially is you have anything that you will be attending at the convention center.

Very dated

Posted Apr 23, 2016
Was asked... " how was your stay?" I responded with..." Was an old, out of date hotel with a grungy shower.... Just not what I expected for my first ever Hilton stay" Employees response" come back after July we are renovating" 1. Insulting 2. Condescending 3. Tells me I over paid for a suboptimal product offering Results: I won't stay at this property or any within this mgt group. I will try a Hilton in 2 weeks when I'm in Atlanta. I still feel I deserve a 50% discount.

OK But Not Great

Posted Feb 12, 2016
The check in process was great but the room was disappointing. The heating/air conditioning was extremely loud and turned on and off frequently. We had a room with two beds and they were small and not that comfortable. The bottom line is the hotel is in a good location and is ok for a quick stop but not a long visit.

The hotel was clean, but frankly, I enjoyed Motel 6 in Santa Fe much more! The windows in Doubletree whistled all night. The thermostat was quirky. Hallway was loud. The bed was hard. Service was great, but I don't think I'll stay there again.

Fun Bar, Nice Room

Posted Dec 31, 2015 on Hotels
I originally planned to stay for 2 nights, but got stuck in ABQ for four nights, all at this hotel. The hotel staff was great, especially the bartenders at the hotel bar, where I spent many a night. The only bad part was that the hotel food wasn't great and they were out of a good number of items. However, the room was great.

Great service from staff but left with red bites

Posted Dec 29, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel staff was excellent. They allowed an early check in to accommodate our needs. We had a small emergency and provide an extra cot to us. Their courtesy was beyond what I expected. However, a day after we left the hotel. My family noticed we had small red bites. My nephew's finger were swollen and it was evident he was bitten. My fiancé also noticed small red bite marks on her body. We notified the hotel and spoke with the manager. I told him our room number and date of stay, but haven't heard anything from them. They did apologize and stated that they would look into the room for cleanliness.
