Centrally located, great value

Centrally located, within walking distance to Old Town. Comfortable large room, most friendly staff. A great value

Perfect location, below average condition Hilton

Pros: Location, walkable to many places downtown.
Cons: Parking, walkways in parking lot, WiFi, restaurant.
I chose this hotel because of the brand and location. Location was as expected, but the rest was not. First off, there was not a single restaurant open due to reconstruction on the first floor. Parking lot is way too small for a giant hotel like this one, and it fills up at night; an alternative garage is close enough, but you will hate walking through it with bags. They put me in a handicapped room without saying a word, and that meant not being able to use a normal bathtub. But the worst was WiFi: it dropped connection every few minutes, after which you'd have to go through login pages, again and again and yet again. This is the first Hilton hotel that disappointed me so much that I wanted to share these notes.

Horrible and expensive breakfast buffet.

Staff was excellent. Pool was closed. This was my first and last time in this hotel.

poor service

Initially put us in a single full size bed when we booked a king. After moving to a king room, we discovered there were no bath towels in the room. Also, they did not disclose that they were remodeling and their resterants were closed. Price was too high given that construction was going on.

Disappointing in quality

AC didn't work- had to have an AC guy fix it while we were there in the room trying to hang out. Did not even receive any reconciliation from hotel staff. Finally, had to ask AC guy to leave, so we could have some privacy. Elevators didn't work. Pool was under construction. Hammering and drilling in room next to/above us.

Were forced by the downtown location to stay there

Pros: Staff very helpful/ Shuttle was very good.
Cons: I hope the renovation will fix some problems. The lobby/bar/dining area were vast; it would be better to have more intimate spaces.
Location: Shuttle made Old Town and museums accessible.
Since we did not have a car, we hoped for a fridge and microwave to keep food costs low. The wi fi was very intermittent; had to reboot several times a day. Thin drapes did not keep out bright city lights at night. Bathroom too small. Phone did not work. Since they say they are doing renovation, I hope this corrects some problems.

Under Maintenance, no pool,gym, etc

Due to renovation, there was no access to gym, pool, or the most convenient elevator. If a hotel is going to have construction, it would be nice if that info was conveyed to hotels.com and passed along to the customer. I would not have booked this hotel if the amenities listed were actually accurate.

Really would appreciate fridges in the rooms. You can hide them somewhere to not mess up the aesthetics. However, there needs to be a place to store small consumables.
