a good get away

Posted Jun 30, 2016
Pros: the location
Cons: a cooler to keep snacks cold
Location: There was not much going on that weekend so my stay was quiet nice and Quiet just what I needed. Lovely
I needed alittle time for myself and DoubleTree made it a nice, quiet and comfortable stay. The room did need a cooler of some sort, just big enough to keep some snacks cold. I enjoyed my stay, and will go back.

This double tree is out dated

Posted Jun 29, 2016
The place is down town, they charge for parking 12 dollars, the interior of the place is from the 70/80s and the carpet is wrinkled in the hallways, I will say there chicken enchiladas were great but that is the best thing about the place. It's a shame it has the name double tree, every other double tree has been far more enticing.

we travelled by train to Albuquerque, so the hotel was convenient, not just to the train station, but also to restaurants and entertainment. Very pleasant and friendly staff.

Pros: staff was so friendly and helpful
Cons: I didn't like that I was charged $12 for parking. I am a guest at the Hotel that should be included.
The room was very clean the staff was so nice and helpful. The linen did smell like its was dried with a rubber ball..

Dance Recital

Pros: The staff was awesome.
Cons: I was going to let the management know that the tub did not drain properly, but I had to leave in a rush and didn't get a chance.
The Doubletree is a good place to stay especially is you have anything that you will be attending at the convention center.

Very dated

Posted Apr 23, 2016
Was asked... " how was your stay?" I responded with..." Was an old, out of date hotel with a grungy shower.... Just not what I expected for my first ever Hilton stay" Employees response" come back after July we are renovating" 1. Insulting 2. Condescending 3. Tells me I over paid for a suboptimal product offering Results: I won't stay at this property or any within this mgt group. I will try a Hilton in 2 weeks when I'm in Atlanta. I still feel I deserve a 50% discount.

Double billing

Posted Apr 8, 2016 on Hotels
I am extremely disappointed about my check in at the hotel. My trip was prepaid in advance through Expedia by my employer. Upon checking into the hotel, I was required to provide my personal credit card and was charged for the room. My employer called the hotel to be sure the prepaid payments were applied. That was more than 3 days ago and the charges are still taken out of my personal account.

Great hotel! A few blocks from down town. Bad area to be at night. As long a you're not planning on going down town, it's a great place to stay.
