Short but sweet stay at the Doubletree Albuquerque

Posted Aug 16, 2016
Pros: It's a beautiful hotel, open spacious very well maintained. It has all amenities you'll need in the hotel or very close. You couldn't ask for more!
Cons: Had some issues with wifi dead zones, but it was nothing but a minor annoyance , over all this hotel did a wonderful job during our short stay.
Location: It's a downtown location so there are restruraunts , museums, and easy access to highways to get you anywhere in the city.
The hotel was very easy to find, check in was fast efficient and friendly. Parking had easy access and was attended by security. The rooms were in a great location clean and up to date.

Great Stop

Posted Aug 12, 2016
Pros: It matched what the website advertised it to be, clean, modern, and in a good location.
Cons: The parking situation could be improved. The front desk staff forgot to give me the code to get out of the parking lot when I checked out.
My hotel experience was great. I only stayed one night, but the staff was very accommodating. After a long day of driving alone, the bartenders were very kind, took time to have a conversation with me, and even turned the t.v. channel to the Olympics opening ceremony. The room was nice, and everything I expected the room to be according to the website. If I had decided to explore the downtown area a little more, this is in a great location. There are some cool bars just a few blocks away that offers a more vibrant night life. This was my favorite hotel that I stayed at as I drove across the country.

Loving it!

Posted Aug 8, 2016
Pros: I liked the size of the room. The comfort of the bed. The downtown view. The bar.
Cons: The room didn't have a refrigerator. I had no where to keep my food cold so I had to throw some of it away the next morning.
Location: The location was right off highway 40 in a very safe area.
The hotel is very nice. The staff is very helpful.

Great downtown location

Posted Aug 4, 2016
Pros: Downtown location, nice staff, clean rooms
Cons: Parking space lines could be widened because they are small for a standard size vehicle.
Location: Right next to Convention Center, multiple restaurants in the area
Hotel was clean and nice. The check in staff was nice and accommodated our request for a late check out. There was a room service charge added to our account that wasn't ours & the front desk took care of the problem immediately. Front parking lot was too cramped. The cars were parked so close together that we couldn't open our doors. We did find out that there was underground parking so we chose to park there instead, as it was very spacious. Plus the parking charges were only cheaper than the hotel's. Our room and beds were very comfortable, however the walls were a little thin because we were awaken by our neighbor's alarm clock going off at 6am. So the next couple nights we just kept our television on to drown out the neighbors. Overall, we would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

a good get away

Posted Jun 30, 2016
Pros: the location
Cons: a cooler to keep snacks cold
Location: There was not much going on that weekend so my stay was quiet nice and Quiet just what I needed. Lovely
I needed alittle time for myself and DoubleTree made it a nice, quiet and comfortable stay. The room did need a cooler of some sort, just big enough to keep some snacks cold. I enjoyed my stay, and will go back.

This double tree is out dated

Posted Jun 29, 2016
The place is down town, they charge for parking 12 dollars, the interior of the place is from the 70/80s and the carpet is wrinkled in the hallways, I will say there chicken enchiladas were great but that is the best thing about the place. It's a shame it has the name double tree, every other double tree has been far more enticing.

we travelled by train to Albuquerque, so the hotel was convenient, not just to the train station, but also to restaurants and entertainment. Very pleasant and friendly staff.

They didn't tell us the yogurt parfait had nuts. My wife is allergic to them. Then our toilet didn't work. Someone came to fix it. A few hours later (midnight) it didn't work again. The manager Stacey told us all the toilets run for hours till almost overflowing- she lied to my wife's face and refused to refund us our money after having to switch rooms in the middle of the night. Funny Stacey the toilet in our new room didn't run till almost overflowing. I'm calling corporate.
