Quaint and quietPosted Feb 20, 2016
I wish I had stayed here on a weekend get away instead of an overnight before a business meeting. The decore is historic rustic. The bedroom was small but with a high lift bed (with steps) that was very comfortable. The soaker tub in the battering was wonderful. The staff has made accommodation for those who are traveling and come on after hours. There is full breakfast at 830 and Continental breakfast after 9. Very sweet.

Lovely B&B and accommodating ownersPosted Mar 5, 2015
I had to do some last-minute rescheduling thanks to weather delays, and Steve was totally understanding and accommodating. I had booked the Ivy Room for a night at the start of my trip and the Gold Room for a night at the end of my trip, but ended up needing to extend my stay—Steve suggested that he just book me into the Ivy Room the entire time (at the same rate) and let me leave any items I didn't want to lug around for the day between my stays (since no one else had booked that room). It really made things a lot easier! Bonus: breakfast in the Spy House was delicious!

Almost perfectPosted May 29, 2013 on Hotels
The house is quite charming as are the host and hostess but the location is funky and the patio door to our room did not lock, which kept me up at night.
