Management not really concerned with people

Pros: The front desk clerk was nice.
Cons: The odor in the room was strange. The pool was filthy.

There was a miscommunication regarding a change in dates for my reservation. I had to change my reservation by one day due to a death in my family. The manager would not refund the previous day's charge even though the hotel was not 100% booked (in other words, they did not turn away anyone due to my reservation.) The manager did give me a little bit off the current day's rate when I started to walk out. This is the only motel I have ever stayed at that thought more of the money they had been paid (for absolutely no service performed) over the possible future repeat business that may have been generated by extending me the common courtesy of not charging for the previous day. If it had not been late, I would have continued on home.

You get what you pay for

The sheets were stained and the bathtub was dirty. Friendly staff and an ok get ready and go breakfast

Clean, comfortable stay

Clean, comfortable, no frills hotel at economy price. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Very conveniently located close to downtown and UNM. Perfect for our needs and our budget. This will be our go-to in Albuquerque.

surprising good

A family member was hospitalized at Presbyterian Hospital which is very close to this Econolodge. Several people recommended it to me. I was very pleased with the rate they charged and the cleanliness of the room. I had every thing I needed including a comfortable bed, flat screen t.v.,refrigerator, and microwave. It was a much needed refuge after stressful days at the hospital.

Better than I expected

Pros: The location was clean, convenient, and affordable. The continental breakfast was available for mornings when we chose not to go out.
Cons: Have a refundable pet deposit. Due to the required "fee" for them to do "extra cleaning required" for pets, I was less inclined to pick up droppings.
Location: We were busy! putt-putt golf, stand up improv show, hot air balloon ride, water park, dining out, shopping, museums, lots to do!
After booking this with Expedia, I realized I had confused it with another place I wanted to stay for our 4 day vacation in Albuquerque. I was extremely discouraged when I called the hotel and was notified of cancellation fees so we decided to stick it out anyway. We were surprised to find the hotel was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. There were no odd smells in the room, the heating/ cooling unit was quiet and functional, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the front desk staff were pleasant when we did have questions or need assistance. There were pros and cons to the location: you could literally throw a rock onto the freeway and the motel is on the corner of the off ramp of I-25 and Central (VERY BUSY intersection). A major hospital with airlift is on the other side of the freeway. Earplugs were sufficient to drown out the noise at bedtime. The location was great for our plans. Despite the questionable looking characters in the area (but not at the hotel), we had no problems and felt relatively safe. The hotel had one of the lowest pet "fees" for any hotels in the area. This turned out to be a happy mistake in booking. I would recommend it to others.

Cheap rates for a nice little hotel

Friendly staff for a cheap (cost) and nice little clean hotel that is near downtown. Recommended for a short stay.

Convenient to Presbyterian Hospital on Central

Pros: Location worked for me: I had relative in Presbyterian Hospital
Cons: Above.
Staff were efficient and friendly. Room appeared clean and well- kept, but had a stale odor: I had to 'air it out' by opening the door and window for an extended period. Don't know the source, and it either got better or we got used to it. I really came close to refusing the room. I suspect the carpet needs to be replaced or at least thoroughly shampooed.

Not a bad place to stay for an overnight or passing through as I was. I didn't get to check in until around 2 A.M. But the gentleman at the desk was very kind and it was a quick and easy check in.
