I was not aware that the building was being renovated, thus the breakfast was not as expected (just a grab bag) and the hot tub was not working. If I knew this before making the reservation I would choose another hotel.Also, I did not like that there were visibly intoxicated/mentally altered people waking around the area outside in the street. That made me feel unsafe.

My room was very clean and in very good condition. The staff was great - personable & efficient, gave good recommendations about where to eat and what to see. The exterior of the building could use some love, but overall I was very happy with the room and service.

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to Old Town. The staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean and well maintained. In general, a comfortable place to stay in Albuquerque. That being said, the road noise and other guests were very loud.

The property itself was pretty awful.one of our rooms was being cleaned when we arrived and upon entering the room the smell of fabuloso was painfully strong. What's worse is that it still didn't cover up the smell of animal pee. There was food found in the microwave that was there from a previous guest. In our other room there were false lashes that we did not wear left inside of a lamp shade. During check in the receptionist was very unprofessional, she was on her personal phone and continued her conversation while trying to get us checked in. The pool while open was impossible to swim in it was so cold and they didn't have a continental breakfast because their lobby is closed off for "remodeling". For what we paid, I would have at least expected clean rooms, a pool, and breakfast...if you're not going to offer those things, don't advertise them. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

As soon as we checked in and opened the door, we were met with a big stain on the first bed. The microwave was dirty and there was another stain on the second bed and a hole in the sheet. I went right back to the lobby and checked out. Totally disgusting. I couldn’t get my money back but there was no way I was letting my family stay in such filthy conditions. You should be ashamed.
