Cancelled reservationPosted Nov 21, 2015
although Embassy suites cancelled my reservation when we missed connections in Denver and could not get out until the next day, they found a room for us. Now I know that even if the room is guaranteed for 3 nights, they can cancel if you can not make it the first night. Good to know.

Great HotelPosted Nov 3, 2015
Cons: Nothing, Keep on doing what you are doing!!
Location: It's a beautiful part of the country to take a hot air balloon ride.
Stayed 3 nights and couldn't have been more pleased with the service and the accommodations. This hotel is very well kept and the rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the housekeeping dept does an excellent job. The free breakfast was amazing and the professionals behind the made to order counter, as busy as they were could still find the time to be exceptionally friendly. I will stay at this hotel again if the opportunity should arise and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. My hat is off to the management and staff of the Embassy Suites. Thank you so much for making our stay in Albuquerque a great one!

Improve separation between non-smoking and smokingPosted Nov 2, 2015
Cons: The hotel needs to do a better job of separating the smoking vs. non-smoking rooms. Carryover from the smoking rooms is noticeable.
Checked in and was given a smoke-free room. Unfortunately, even though the room was "smoke-free" the ventilating system perfused a strong tobacco odor throughout. It wasn't overwhelming, but it was noticeable and detracted from the experience. We have stayed at several Embassy Suites and this is the first time I ever ran into this problem. With this sour note excepted, the rest of the hotel experience was good-to-excellent. Courteous staff, room cleanliness and amenities were as expected. Great breakfast!

Nice overall but stuffy and noisy.Posted Oct 27, 2015
Pros: Size of rooms, extra bed.
Location: The Biopark is great and well worth the time and price!
We've stayed at this hotel a few times with our two older kids. The rooms are spacious and have ample storage. Beds are comfortable. The sofa bed is not comfortable and doesn't have great linens, but it does provide extra sleeping space. The rooms without balconies are very stuffy and a bit smelly, as there is absolutely zero ventilation of any kind. (I'd recommend requesting a room with balcony). This hotel has a lot of events and parties, so the lobby tends to be full of loud groups. This weekend there was a costume party downstairs and there were loud, drunk college-aged kids everywhere, so be prepared for that possibility. Decent lobby bar that closes at 11, starbucks coffee and a small store. We've never gone to the complimentary happy hour since it's always packed with people, but that is an option. Breakfast is pretty good.

Nice hotel close to down town.Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Proximity to down town.
Cons: 24/7 brewed coffee would be nice.Felt like a cup late in the evening, the hotel coffee shop was closed and who likes the room coffee you have to brew.
Location: Route 66 has awesome restaurants and shops. The zoo is close by. We went to old town (5 min away) watched a movie. Couldn't do it all in a weekend.
My family and I spent 3 days there. Really enjoyed the facilities, breakfast was great. I went out for a jog every morning down route 66 to old town. Evening complementary drinks in the lounge really hit the spot. Will be back.

Very nice hotel, located close to everything!Posted Oct 22, 2015
Pros: Location and staff
Location: It was so easy to navigate everything with the hotel being located right on the main highway.
We went for a long weekend anniversary get away. We were very pleased with the hotel, the extraordinarily friendly staff and the convenience of location to everything that we wanted to see! (with a rental car) It was an incredibly pleasant experience!

We got our money's worth.Posted Oct 19, 2015
Pros: The room was very comfortable for our family. We were traveling with small children and found the room spacious and well appointed.
Cons: The overall cleanliness could be improved. The carpets in the room and in the hallways need shampooing, the lobby water features contained trash.
Location: The hotel is centrally located in town. We were minutes from the aquarium and botanical gardens and minutes from shopping in uptown.
We went to Abq. for the weekend to get away and visit with family and had a decent stay there.
