Horror story

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Rio Rancho, NM was nice.
I called ahead to tell them we were going to be about 11 pm getting in and they said no problem. We got there and they said no more rooms. After some searching, they found a room for us. They told me to pack my stuff for the next day because they were going to have to change our room for the next night. Went to my son's baseball tournament, returned and they once again said no rooms. They magically found one for us, it was occupied. Ooops. They found another one and I told them to check it this time first. The rooms were dirty, the front desk people were non existent. I will never stay at the Rio Rancho Extended Stay.

Convenient and Affordable

Posted Nov 9, 2016
Location: It is conveniently located for business in both Rio Rancho and the Albuquerque West Side.
The room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The first day or so was a little uncomfortable as they were painting on the floor I was given and the odor was most unpleasant. It would have been nice to have been advised of that and offered a room away from the area being painted. The only real downside of the room itself was having to go back and ask for dishware and then tote it up to my room. Basic dishes at least should already be stocked in each guest room. It was that way on my previous visit (with former owners) and I was surprised to find it not so this time. The kitchen was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The windows in my room were in disrepair and one would not stay open at all and the other opened and closed only with great difficulty. Some of us do prefer fresh air to air conditioning. The hotel staff with whom I interacted were very personable and helpful. I did not take advantage of the "free breakfast" as it was really just a snack bar. Overall, I would stay again on my next visit to Rio Rancho.

No amenities unless you specifically ask!

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Pros: The pull out sofa
Cons: Everything else
Must be a lot of theft in the area because hid the dishes, blow dryer, even the coffee maker away unless you ask. There wasn't even a waste basket in the bathroom area. Really annoying. Breakfast was awful. Instant oatmeal...sign said toppings, no toppings.. No spoons, guess people steal those too. At night we had a choice; bake to death or have the loudest air conditioner in the world whirring in your ear. So glad to be home, will never stay there again!

Comfortable stay

Posted Sep 12, 2016
We stayed because my son had an activity in Rio Rancho. We usually stay in Albuquerque when we visit but decided to try something different. Apart from the disappointing "breakfast" which consisted of prepackaged muffins, I was very pleased with our stay. I even slept in, something I rarely ever do but the beds were that comfortable. The rates for the rooms are also extremely affordable and I would definitely stay here again if we have business in Rio Rancho again.

Thank you for your recent review of your stay. The feedback you described is disheartening, and I sincerely apologize for your experience. As per corporate policy those are the only items we can order at this time for breakfast as we are working to expand the choices. I really appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Pros: the personal service
Cons: nothing
Location: It was a little hard to find at first.
We arrived at 3:30 PM on Saturday and Were welcomed warmly and were quickly registered in our room. The room was clean and cool. We had a good nights rest had a continental breakfast. When we arrived home we could not find our checkbook. After searching at home we decided it had been left in our hotel room in a drawer. We called the desk and asked if they could check. they did so and explained the process to get it sent to us. We were greatly pleased with the service i received.

Very Nice Family and Pet Friendly!

Posted Aug 19, 2016 on Hotels
We arrived very late, after midnight. The night employee was SO kind and brought our extra bed linens for the couch bed quickly when we asked. Be aware, this location does not stock the dishes and cooking supplies and utensils IN your room, you need to request the items you want to have. Do this as soon as you check in so you have what you need when you need it. The manager was so kind. We were doing some site seeing at the Petroglyph National Park and she made sure our stay was comfortable and our check out went smoothly.

Pros: Updated, cheap, clean, quiet, and close to shopping and dining.
Cons: Mapping apps are confused about this hotel vs. the other Extended Stay America nearby. Just fyi, this hotel is MUCH better than the other one.
Location: Great location near the mall and with plenty of dining options. Would highly recommend to others looking for value hotel options in the area.
Nice hotel in the Albuquerque area close to shopping and dining. Easy access to the highways.
