    Balloon Festival Trip
I visited during the Balloon Festival and was here with my brother, my cousin and my 79 year old aunt....this trip was for her as seeing the balloons was something she has always wanted to do. The house was perfect! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet, house was well-equipped, comfortable and clean. An easy drive to downtown Albuquerque via the freeway. We took a day trip to Santa Fe and my cousin and I did some hiking in the hills nearby. The back patio was fantastic and we spent many a morning and evening there enjoying the beautiful weather. My aunt was also pleasantly surprised to find out we could see the balloons each morning from the patio as well. The beds were quite comfy and everything was great. I would definitely stay here again. The only complaint was the lack of a non-stick pan which made cooking eggs and other things a bit difficult. We purchased one from the local Walmart and left it as a gift to future visitors :-) Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Sunny Stay at Rancho de Sol
Our stay at Rancho de Sol was actually better than expected. The home was spacious, clean and comfortable. The house has a beautiful backyard with a view of the Sandia Mountains. The sunrises were spectacular and we were also lucky to see the full moon over the mountains. There were many lovely inspirational plaques throughout the house. The host was also very responsive to our questions about the TV. The home is conveniently located near a grocery store, the Bosque Brew Pub and many other businesses in a newly developed area, but it is also in a quiet neighborhood. There is a park with trails nearby that was great for the runner in our family. The game room was very fun, but it should be noted that it is actually in a garage which may get hot in the summer months. Overall, we had a great and comfortable stay at the lovely Ranch of the sun!

    Loved this house!
We stayed at this house in August while visiting our daughter and family. We loved just about everything! House was clean, nicely decorated, the view from the backyard of the mountains was amazing, and the backyard very nice with flowering bushes, paths etc. The bedrooms were very nice though the smaller two were a bit sparsely furnished, especially in terms of lamps and bedside tables. The master is very nicely furnished though. Bathrooms were very nice too. My husband’s favorite part of the house was the very large flat-screen TV in the living room (there is a TV in one bedroom as well but not in the master). My favorite was the large deck in back, a lovely place for meals while looking at the mountains-and we enjoyed the party lights after the sun went down. We had our daughter and grandkids over for a couple afternoons (with permission from the rental manager) and their favorite part was definitely the converted garage game room! Really only a few things I need to mention: 1) If you like very firm beds, this house is for you. They did have nice mattress toppers but the mattresses are on top of solid wooden box-like supports and the master bedroom one was too firm for my back so I slept in the 3rd bedroom which had the cushiest mattress topper. And the only problem with that bedroom was that the ceiling fan in that room was super noisy. Luckily I had earplugs but it could use fixing, as could the very screechy hallway bathroom door. Otherwise we had no other complaints. Also-I am disabled and walk with a cane and wanted to mention that for someone like me it’s a great house-no steps at all to the front porch, only one low step to get in the front door or out onto the back deck. Walk-in shower in the master was very nice and has a grab bar for getting in and out though one on the inside of the shower would be nice too. And there is also a walk in tub! I didn’t actually try it but maybe next time. Thanks for letting us stay!

Bed was stiff, not to comfortable Becuz of the type of bed temperature was difficult to balance. Either too warm or too cold. I felt there could have been more items in the kitchen. Coffee beans were old. Better off with a kerug Also, for left over food there weren’t any ziploc plastic bags. Pam spray for the griddle pans and skillets We managed regardless. It was still a great place. Thank you

    Staying close to family
The four of us, two couples, needed a place to stay near our daughter and son-in-law in Rio Rancho, NM. This turned out to be the ideal location, quiet, clean and large enough that we had plenty of room. Close enough to be convenient for dining and shopping. Great yard, comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay very much.
