5 star quality

Posted May 19, 2017
Cons: Shower, needs a little attention, but towels were great.
Location: As above
The staff at this property easily rivals that of any 5 star hotel. Room very clean, and Very comfortable. Location is perfect, right off 40, easy on and off of highway. Located next to shopping and dinning area, Apple Store, Long Horn Stake House, and a number of up market retail and dinning establishments. My wife and I thought this would be a nice destination experience. En-route, driving from Phoenix to Philadelphia. Wish all travel hotels where like this.

Very quickly becoming our go to hotel for our trip

Posted May 16, 2017
Overall, I cannot say anything negative about the hotel. For the price we pay, location, amenities, and accommodations. This hotel is quickly becoming our go to hotel for all of our Albuquerque visits. About the only thing I can complain, if you will, about is the breakfast. The breakfast spread is a little too institutionalized for my liking, but you get what you pay for. You want a free breakfast, you will get exactly what you pay for. Our family doesn't stay for the breakfasts, so its not a make or break situation for us. Plenty of great restaurants in ABQ. to dine at for breakfast. We will be back for another visit in July and the question as to where to stay is already answered.

Very good Uptown Albuquerque hotel.

Posted May 12, 2017
Pros: Great staff, good breakfast, nice accommodations.
Cons: Nothing that I could see.
Location: Uptown shopping and dining is right across the street.
This hotel has great location if you want to stroll through Uptown or just be in a central location in Albuquerque. Even better, the staff were fantastic in every way. They were very friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make it a great experience.

Perfect location

Great hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet options were basic but great at the same time, for e.g., they had the typical cereal choices but also granola! They had the typical milk and juice choices, but also almond milk. They served Seattle's Best coffee, which was awesome. Their breakfast sausages were also very tasty. The location was the best being so close to the uptown mall with great restaurants nearby (must try sushi freak). Trader Joe's is also only two minutes away.

Good, but something is biting!

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Pros: Indoor pool, Breakfast, friendly staff
Cons: cleanliness
The hotel itself is in a great neighborhood and has some nice amenities. We stayed 3 nights and unfortunately each night we woke up with more and more bites - of what? We dont know. We checked for bedbugs, but we didnt see any - but there was definitely something that got both of us. I went to the Hilton next door for two more nights with no biting events.

I am sorry about the bite issues but we did have Ecolab come and check out the room and there were no signs of any kind of bugs.

Slow service/Not the best place for families

Posted Apr 11, 2017
Had to wait several minutes just to be acknowledged when I was checking in. The woman who then got to me was not very apologetic for the wait. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good, but this place is definitely set up for business people and not families with small children.

Close to shopping and restaurants

Posted Apr 2, 2017
Was suppose to check in on Friday and leave Monday but mother nature had other plans and it snowed closing down part of the highway in New Mexico making impossible to get there. Called Expedia to change my reservation to stay Saturday to Tuesday instead and they had to call the manager of the hotel to make the change. He said they could make the change for an extra $55. I explained once again that the highway is closed and it is impossible to get to but whatever. They finally waived the fee. After arriving back home from the trip my credit card was charged for the room twice. Got to spend a lovely 2 hours and 18 minutes on the phone with Expedia getting the second charges back. As for the hotel, we arrived at 2:30pm, check in time is 3pm. They made us wait until 3. No big deal. They have a shopping mall across the street. Came back at almost 4 and got the keys to the room, which to forever. Got to our room and it was freezing. Turned off the A/C and the heat on, only I had to put the heat on 85 for it to turn on. So our room was either to hot or to cold. Breakfast was horrible. Day 1, which was the best, they had scrambled eggs and sausage. Every morning they have donuts, breads, cereals, and juices. 2nd day was some eggs on bread with some sort of sauce on it. Did not look appetizing at all. The 3rd day they didn't have an entrée out yet so we left. Each day we had breakfast somewhere else. Nice location but the breakfast, the staff and the rooms need work!

Sorry about the extra charge but our rates are definitely different if you stay a weekend or a weekday and that was why you were being charged extra.

Great hotel for the price.

Posted Mar 29, 2017
Location: There is a great shopping center across the street
When looking for hotels in the area, most of the nicer hotels were $50 to $100 per night more than this one. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and competent. The rooms were clean, very comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and extremely nice. Although there is not a full restaurant, the lobby has an a cafe where food, alcohol and snacks can be purchased, with a seating area....great food!
