Pros: The location was perfect for us. The price was fair.We did not notice the Interstate traffic noise. The breakfast was just right.
Cons: The beds are only mediocre and the pillows are large and overly firm.
Location: The hotel is very easy to access and is close to restaurants.
We experienced an excellent check-in. The room was clean but no frills. The breakfast was adequate for our needs and breakfast staff was helpful and friendly.

staff needs training in customer service.

Pros: The pillows and mattress were very comfortable.
Cons: Train the desk staff on hygiene, problem solving, how to serve a good breakfast, presentation, and get rid of rings in the nose.
Staff lacked people skills, problem solving skills and managerial skills. When checking in, staff was very congenial however had strong body odor. The morning staff lacked giving attention to the breakfast: the gravy was cold, biscuits ran out and it took 15 minutes to replenish, the orange juice ran out and the staff didn't notice until it was called to their attention. when it was called to their attention the staff person laughed, interrupted the customer with excuses. the hard boiled eggs were so rubbery you could bounce them off the floor. the cold gravy was pasty. the side walk at the front entrance was heavily soiled. It was a big turnoff to have staff with a ring thru their nose. The pillows, bed and housekeeping in the room was great. the checkout staff provided no receipt; This is the first time that we have not been issued a room receipt. the staff charged a $75 retainer and provided no proof that this $75 was refunded. It had all the makings of a scam.

Thank you for your feedback on your stay with us. Per our contract with the third party that you choose to book through we are not allowed to give receipts as we did not charge your credit card for room and tax. The $75.00 charge is for incidentals only and is released at time of check out. It may take up to 14 days for this to be returned to your balance depending on your bank. We have this information posted at our front desk for guest convenience. We were aware the biscuits were out and we were already cooking more. Gravy was just added into crock pot and needed 5 minutes to warm up. I do apologize for the frustration this may have caused. Thank you again and safe travels.

Poor for the price. Asked for queen beds and got standard beds??

Convenient, safe and pretty clean.

Pros: The room was mostly clean.
Cons: Cleaning crew needs to be a bit more thorough; bed straightened out, tissues refilled, more cups in room. But I will return.
Location: I was there to visit a nearby friend, and this was very convenient.
The room was mostly clean. Wish they would let us re-use towels to save water. Breakfast was good and they gave us enough choices, like unsweetened cereal and whole fruit, so we could avoid unhealthy food. I will return with complete confidence that my needs will be met!

Nice Hotel- Staff & Incidental Fees Disappointing

Pros: We lived through it, the room was small but clean and fresh. Quiet area, Denny's in the parking lot.
Cons: The complete lack of interest in our needs blew me away. If they had just tried to help us without me getting angry it would have been 5 stars.
We experienced a broken pipe at our house and decided to stay at La Quinta for the night. We've put family and employees many times here before, and were sure we'd get a nice room at a good price. Unfortunately our water issues at home happened at 10:30 pm, and we were exhausted so we really looked forward to getting into our room. However we had not even arrived when the staff called and let us know that our non-smoking king bed room wasn't available after all, and the best they could do was to put us into a smoking room with a king size bed. I explained that my husband was recovering from a heart attack and that a smoking room wouldn't be acceptable. The staff member said he was sorry, and explained I could get my refund through expedia by calling them. Never mind it is now 11pm, and we need a place to sta. Not to mention the time it would take to go through this process and find a new place to stay. So I asked if he had any other non smoking rooms available, to which he said yes, but I'd still have to contact expedia. I had to get angry and threaten to contact management for him to help us, which he finally did. Putting us in a room with two double beds. They ran my debit card for incidentals, which was a $75 dollar fee that may not be returned to my account for up to 14 days.

Pros: the beds were comfortable.
Cons: better cleaning.
Location: convenient to I-25
the bathroom could have been cleaner, the fixtures were OK, but there was ancient grime in the hard to reach corners. the room was dated, but the bed was surprisingly comfortable. i requested a ground floor room but none were available since they would not be finished with routine cleaning on the same day we checked in. also the staff told me they make no special accommodations for people who book through third parties.
