Not your usual chain hotel

Posted May 20, 2017
Pros: See "experience"
Cons: Move the made-to-order omelette table next to the buffet tables. It was in a separate location & not obvious, so we missed it.
Location: Near historic old downtown w/ excellent restaurants. Freeway close.
Last minute booking, very friendly staff, super comfortable bed, quiet room, excellent breakfast, convenient location.

Hotel in the center of ALBUQUERQUE

Posted May 5, 2017
Was an ok room. The clock/radio was unplugged. I went to plug it in the wall outlet located near the headboard. Was dirty between the bed and the wall. Dirty under the bed, nightstand and dresser. Older hotel, I have stayed here in the past and had better rooms. For the price, I would rate this a 3 out of 5.

Pros: The breakfast
Cons: Read the above statement concerning the problems we had that were not addressed.
Location: Pow-wow Visiting friends
Last year when we stayed at your hotel, about 3 in the morning some brats pulled the fire alarm. I was recently in a car accident and had to climb down three flights of stairs and up three flights when it was determined their was no emergency. Not the hotels fault, but I couldn't get back to sleep and it made our drive home long and miserable. This year our room #188 had the electrical from the lamps hanging out. It looked like a fire hazard waiting to happen and complained to the front desk. They sent someone in our room while we were at the Pow-wow. They turned on the lamps and left the room. I guess they thought they fixed them? Then at 7 in the morning on Sunday, the day we were to leave an announcement came over the intercom that the boiler was not working and their would be no hot water. I think we will find other accommodations in the future. The breakfast was wonderful, but the bartender gave us an attitude when we went in for the free drinks at 6:55.

Convenient location, close to airport and downtown

Posted May 3, 2017
Pros: I liked the breakfast buffet. I haven't stayed anywhere that isn't a resort with that great of a breakfast buffet.
Cons: The rooms need to be updated, the bathrooms are not very appealing and the sliding glass door to the balcony was so hard to open and close.
Our experience with the staff and hotel was ok, there was a group of young kids that made it a bit noisy.

Thank you for staying with us. We appreciate your business! Breakfast is IMPORTANT to our guests and we make sure it's satisfying. We are sorry you had some issues with the room/ kids in the hotel. We are an older hotel but have kept it up and newly renovated. We are in our busy season and have a ton of schools in house.

Booked a motel for close location to meetings

Posted Apr 26, 2017
Pros: The one night was tolerable, but would not have stayed another night
Cons: See Comments above
Location: Location of hotel was convent for needs, but nothing to do in immediate area.
Internet add looked appealing. Given a room on an empty floor next to vending and ice machines that ran constantly through the night. Arrived at breakfast at 9am. Service staff just in an out talking about a big retire navy ships crew coming in over the next few days. Stood at omelet bar for sometime waiting. Finally went to buffet, but found eggs bacon, etc barely warm. Was asked once if I needed anything else, but that was about the time I was leaving. Terribly disappointed.

Disappointment.

Posted Apr 13, 2017
Pros: I was there for a seminar, and the meeting rooms were fine.
Location: Several good restaurants are nearby, as well as a large mall. The hotel was easy to find, right off the interstate.
When I walked into the room, I was momentarily disoriented. My room was on the second floor, but I felt like I was walking into a room below ground level. The window was tiny and only covered a small portion of the top of the wall. I opened the drapes and was looking out at the roof at eye-level. The room was dark and dirty, and the sheets were the roughest I've ever seen in a hotel. There were "crunchy" spots on the carpeting in the room. Breakfast was horrendous. The food was stone-cold and the pans were almost empty, even though breakfast had just started one hour before I got there (and still had two hours to go). The oatmeal was the only hot item, and there was brown sugar in a bowl beside the oatmeal, solid as a rock. I couldn't even scrape any sugar out. There was an odor in the room and in the hallway outside my room. The air conditioner also didn't work. It was an individual unit high on the wall and only blew out hot air.

Interesting

Posted Apr 12, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: On site resturant
Rooms were functional and clean. Easy on to I-40. Good breakfast. However I don't recommend Rustler steak house. it took 45 minutes for them to bring out salads and then one order was wrong. Overall not much to speak off but not necessarily unpleasant (excepts for Rustler) either.
