Always stay here when in town probably my 10th stay or so at this hotel. Room conditions are fading. Carpet coming up from floor rooms have musty odor and amenities have lacked. Not a great stay this time but will give one more try in the future

The property is in a good spot. Right off interstate 25. Close to restaurants. Needs some updates. There were kids there for a trip that I felt could have been quieter. I was on the 7th floor and it seemed a little loud. I shouldn’t hear anything for that price unless there is a casino involved.

The indoor/ outdoor pool was mostly outdoor. The room we stayed in blew hot air no matter what the temperature was set at. The room was extremely hot stuffy with no windows that opened. The maintenance guy came after our second complaint (we were told he would come the first time and no one came). He was friendly and worked hard to get the problem fixed. It seemed like it did for a short while. By that time it was late and we were ready to leave the next morning. I had to use ice packs we brought to be able to sleep both nights we stayed.

This hotel was clean, had very friendly staff, and security in the parking lot. Only downside was the ice machine wasn’t working and some of the wallpaper/drywall was peeling off and had water damage. Would stay here again though.

Ancient Pyramid
For our 1st room we had 2 full beds which were very old and worn out. I'm tall and there is no way i would have fit on a kid bed. I did request to queen beds but didn't get that. All they had was a king bed and brought a roll out mattress which we had to deal with. Once in the 2nd room heater didn't work. Maintenance came fixed it and told us if it gets hot just turn it off and open the window. No guarantee it was going to turn back on. Left heat on all night so we wouldn't get cold in the early morning. 6am was hot and sweaty, gross!!

Comfy bed but could use some updates
This place is fine but it really needs some updating. The sink was draining slow, the toilet ran if you didn’t jiggle the handle and everything was so noisy: the fridge & the a/c both made loud knocks all through the two nights that I stayed there. I sleep with thunderstorms and I still was woken up by these noises. Also it was inconvenient to not have anywhere to plug usbs to charge. That being said I will probably stay here again because my work holds an event here each year and it is convenient for that and the bed is comfy.

Staff, service, and location were great! Lobby area may be updated; however, the room and everything above the lobby is outdated except for the large flat screen in the room. Toilet was loose, carpet in the hallway was duct taped, and the rug in our room had a large whole not sure why. I believe that the price I paid for this room was due to location especially because it was during the Hot Air Balloon Festival. I have always stayed at Marriott and I was very surprised about the condition of the rooms, hallways, and other areas outside the lobby.

Hectice check in, nice stay overall
The check in was hectic, and frustrating after a long flight, we just wanted to rest. Lorena helped us, first she said they didn't assign me a room and there were no more so they had to find one, and they needed a manager, okay??? Then she finally gets us in and tells me we are on the 3rd floor, as she proceeds to write a room number on a card, then she says to wait because there is a problem with my room, after a while she says we are now on the 4th floor, so, we proceed to the 4th floor, but when we get there, the card says "Room 302", we go back down, she forgot to write the new room number, so now we go to the 4th floor, the room is at the furthest corner it could be, and what happens, it's not clean. At this point my 72 year old mom, and 73 year old cousin are tired, I leave them there and go back downstairs, so now they give us another room on the 5th floor, so there I go to get my family from the 4th floor, haul them to the 5th floor, needless to say it was hectic. Aside from that we enjoyed the rest of the stay, but that was not a good first impression for the hotel.

Star bucks was not available(advertising signage was still up) ice machine broke in our wing. Main fountain wasnt in operation. Faucet in our room sprayed all over. Pool area was a big let down! Only 2 chairs in inside area. Parking fee each night when rates are already expensive enough!!!

Decent place to stay, not eat
Location was convenient to the Balloon Fiesta and for extra money we chose to ride the chartered bus directly from the hotel to the Fiesta. The only drawback to that is that it operates on a fixed time schedule 6am pickup and 9:30 am return. The other park n ride services offer multiple busses. The Pyramid has a menu restaurant, but don't count on it for decent food. They offer a nice looking breakfast buffet, but it's not tasty either. Dry, bland, and cold coffee. Some of their younger servers are not really there to work, others are. There's plenty of Albuquerque restaurants ~ try theminstead! Enjoy all Albuequerque has to offer 'away' from the hotel. The hotel is just for rest.

Hotel is located north of Albuquerque. Not very close to old town or downtown but it was perfect for those who wants to be close to balloon fiesta park.From the room we have, we could even watch the balloons rising. Open buffet breakfast was rich and reasonably priced ($19.95 tax per person). On the other hand, we are charged $10/night for parking. It was quite surprising to get charged for parking in a open space lot. Overall recommend to everyone...
