What every B&B ought to bePosted May 4, 2015
Pros: Neat, clean, unique and a part of history of the area.
Cons: Umm, I'm reaching here because the food was so great, but maybe some more low-carb offerings? Of course I didn't have to eat the French toast, did I?
Location: It's just a few blocks from downtown. We walked to the convention center and had our choice of bars and restaurants in the main entertainment district
We've stayed at quite a few B&B's and the Mauger Estate was the best, bar none. It's an historical registry house, dating from the mid-1800s, so the rooms weren't huge, but nevertheless was just the right size for our purposes. The house and yard - spotless and uniquely designed, fun to wander around in. But what made it special was the helpfulness and attention of the staff. The young proprietress was busy but took time to help us figure out how to get to our destinations (we could actually WALK to great restaurants and the convention center in downtown Albuquerque - what a concept!) and she was a fantastic and attentive cook. Wine and cheese in the evening, some fresh chocolate chip cookies and a full spread at breakfast - tasty French toast, home-made yogurt, sausage and so much more, served in a bright, sunny breakfast room. Who could ask for anything more?

Gracious AccomodationsPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: I liked the decor, quiet atmosphere and garden.
Cons: I was on the third floor and it would have been nice to have a dumb-waiter or elevator to take my suitcases upstairs.
The Mauger Estate B&B is in a lovely, historic building with quaint decor and fabulous breakfasts. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. It is located within walking distance to various restaurants and Old Town.

B&B Full of character.Posted Apr 28, 2015
Cons: From my point of view, nothing.
Location: Within walking distance of Old Town, Route 66, Downtown & the railway station should you wish to visit Santa Fe on the Rail Runner.
On a 2 month trip of the U.S., this was my 8th hotel of the trip & by far & away the best. The friendly staff, there willingness to help with any request, the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the whole establishment & its location to downtown Albuquerque make the Brittania an outstanding choice for any traveler. Tammy, the owner should be very proud of what she provides.

Downtown ABQ InnPosted Feb 17, 2015 on Hotels
Great place - more an inn than a b&b. Located downtown and very nice and comfortable. Had everything we needed, including very quiet and private rooms, great front porch, fantastic breakfast, evening snacks and wine. Will certainly return for another stay.

A Little GemPosted Feb 6, 2015
Pros: The friendliness
Cons: Nothing perfect
Location: Easy to locate and close to the old town
Cannot praise the place enough, from the moment you enter and are met by the owner Tammy you are made to feel welcome. You are greeted with a glass of wine and cheese and biscuits and introduced to the other guests like friends. The room was huge and perfect, everything about it was precisely placed with care and attention and style. Pity we had only booked it for one night. Next day you are provided with an excellent home made buffet breakfast.
