The mass ascension ceremonies at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! There is no need to wait for the Albuqueruqe Balloon Fiesta in the fall; balloonists take advantage of any cool morning to take to the gorgeous high desert skies. Lifting off at the 2014 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Great experience. Have wanted to go to the balloon fiesta ever since I heard about it a few years ago, and was definitely not disappointed! Amazing to see all the balloons in the sky Just to the SW corner of Texas Roadhouse is this magnificent Sci-fi bridge. Mass ascension at dawn never gets old, no matter how many years I go back for another experience! Rainbow Ryders gives balloon rides daily and you can get magnificent views all year round. My favorite times are in the summer and fall. This has always been on my list. It was a good time. But so cold and unfortunately the wind Gods were not smiling us,so will have to go back next year to get pictures of the massive launch. See you there. Hundreds of balloons for the hot air balloon fiesta in Albuquerque. My view from one of them. #visitabq #balloonfiesta #beautifulcolors #amazingviews #blue Cool scenes and happy people. You need to go at sunrise and see the mass ascension where 300+ balloons all rise up and flicker on and off before the sun rises. You probably should leave your hotel room at 4am to arrive at the festival 45 minutes early because we were stuck in 2 hrs of traffic to go only 11 minutes. Overall it was fun and your group should go experience it as well . Butternut squash soup with goat cheese and pecans - scrumptious! This is a gem of a place hidden in the far north valley that uses local ingredients and products as much as possible. When in Albuquerque we try to visit the St. James Tea Room.
It is hard to believe that you are in the South West and having a Proper Tea.
Troy and partner have been here many, many years and it shows - they give a great cut at a great price! Excellent place to play or rest in central Albuquerque with a new playground, football and soccer fields, tennis courts, and an adjacent library. Peacefully floating over Albuquerque in the early morning light. It's the Sandia mountain range, the dormant volcanos in the distance, the Rio Grande, the rising sun - what a great way to start the day. Albuquerque 2017 Balloon Fiesta Albuquerque NM Just to the SW corner of Texas Roadhouse is this magnificent Sci-fi bridge. The good stuff....carne adovado breakfast burrito Christmas style. A must whenever we visit this area. Just to the SW corner of Texas Roadhouse is this magnificent Sci-fi bridge.
