Good for soccer tours

Posted May 21, 2016
Pros: The girls at the front counter can speak in English and pretty!
Cons: I stayed at the hotel for a week visiting soccer clubs. If the hotel could provide some sport TV program would be lovely to me.
Location: I visited stadium of TrivalValderas, AD Alcorcon, and Atletico Madrid and Cerro del Espanio to watch games and have meetings.
I stayed at the hotel for visiting soccer teams and soccer academia in Madrid. This hotel is located near by the station of Alcorcon taking 5 minutes by walking. So, it was easy to go other location of soccer places and clubs. And, it was easy to access to a down twon of Alcorcon. There is a big shoping mall taking 5 minutes by walking from the hotel. The mall is consited of movie theater and play lands as well. We could buy souvenirs and daily foods as well. The all hotel staffs are friendly and work very hard. I could see the cleanliness at every where and all times. There is a restaurant beside the hotel and McDonald's 3 minutes by walking. I think the hotel is the best one for me.

Dear guest, Thanks for your comment; The hotel is to 15 km from the center but is well conected with public transport and in 20 minutes you could be in Madrid center. Thanks & best regards

Horrible bed, springs felt through the mattress. Comfort comparable to a cheap motel in the US.

A better than average out of centre hotel

With excellent cheap rail connection to city centre and free parking on-site this is a good alternative to more expensive no parking city options

Jan 2015 visit

Great location, next to highway , metro and shopping all within walking distance . Decent size room with decent size bathroom but beds are not very comfortable . Internet is free but very slow but it's slow everywhere not just the hotel. Breakfast is also free and ok. Parking is free and there are always spaces available, a huge plus since parking is a major issue anywhere in Madrid .

standard fayre

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: cleanliness, friendly staff, good array of breakfast items
Cons: vending machine could be restocked. we emptied one type of sandwich and it was not replenished the next day
Location: as mentioned - 30 mins out of central madrid, some shopping / eating within driving distance but otherwise not a lot in the area. Suburban.
hotel was as expected for a Holiday Inn Express, staff were friendly and spoke both Spanish and English. room was very clean, sofa bed was made up for us on arrival and as a result it a bit snug but for a budget hotel it was no worse than I'd expect. There are vending machines in the foyer which contain sandwiches, crisps, snack and drinks. There was a telepizza menu in the room but as with most Spanish eateries, they did not open until 8pm so when you are trying to feed young kids before bed it was not ideal, but the vending machine was fine. there is also a restaurant next door, looked ok but was definitely a bit on the pricey side - however, with no car you are somewhat of a captive audience, you can see that there are some retail parks within a 5 minute drive of the hotel but if you are on foot, to be honest with you, in 35 - 40 degree heat the last thing you want to do is walk. Train station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel which was great. Train into central Madrid (Atocha / Sol) takes around 25-30 minutes Train to the airport is around 1 hr approx Taxi to the airport is 30 minutes and cost us just under 70 euros.

Odd place for a hotel..

Posted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: It's location.
Location: There is nothing to do there. I was attending a function. This hotel will only appeal to people who need to go to Alcorcon!
Stayed at hotel out of necessity. Wanted to stay at Ibis across the road but wouldn't accommodate 2 adults and 2 young children in a room. Hotel very basic (clean and functional). Breakfast very basic. Coffee undrinkable. Hotel situated on an island surrounded by busy roads. Only exit road is onto the motorway. Had to drive to next intersection and do a 360 to go to the Mall across the road (easier to walk but not with children).

Only good for a driver's one night stay.

Pros: None
Cons: Air conditioning and beds
Location: You can get on to the express way when you leave the hotel.
First night, the air condition did not work when it was 45C outside. The staff gave us a fun, and exchanged our room for the next two nights. The beds are worn out in both rooms. We were rolling down to the big hole in the middle of the beds.
