Worst hotel ever!!!

Only one elevator worked. The carpet in the room was soaking wet. Checked in late and kids fell asleep while waiting on someone to come look. The guy just stated that it was just the ac the caused it. We had an early day the next day, came back and still the carpet was soaking wet. Complained again also because of the smell. The finally gave us another room, but the wet carpet caused my allergies to flair up and we left early even though I prepaid to get a cheaper rate and lost money. There was also mold above the shower. Disgusting!!!!

Badly needs renovation!

Room had old, dirty furniture and a bad smell. The two elevators were old and one was not working at all. The working one was very slow. Staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable. Parking is very limited and parking spaces are very tight.

Decent hotel for one night at a discounted price.

The day time hotel staff at the front desk were very polite and friendly. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. The night staff, not so much. We smelled pot and cigarette smoke very strong on the 6th floor at night and asked the girl at the front counter to check it out but no one ever did. The smell was awful and extremely overwhelming and we could still smell it the next day when we left at 12pm. Apparently they don't inforce their "no smoking" policy and don't seem to notice when the entire hotel floor smells like marijuana.

Older hotel in need of upgrade

The staff here are very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean but in need of a upgrade. There is only one working elevator and wait time for it are sometimes several minutes. We were told they are planning a complete renovation of the hotel in the coming months. The surrounding area has the appearance of a nice but working class area. Older strip malls are nearby with discount stores and fast food restaurants. The IHOP restaurant has a very good breakfast. If planning a trip to D.C. It's best to go to Franconia-Springfield metro as the Van Dorn is closer but has limited parking. In short if you're looking for a nice hotel on a budget this is a good choice. However my wife and I agree we'll choose a hotel that has a few more amenities on our next trip to visit D.C.

Aging hotel, however they are upgrading.

Pros: The staff was wonderful.
Cons: Update and take care of room comfort. Also, when checking out, was told a receipt would be emailed to me (5/24) still have not received 5/25!
Location: Located close to, and easy access to Arlington National Cemetary-where my brother was being buried w/full military honors. Food, clothing, close by.
Comfort Inn-Landmark is an aging hotel, however they are in the process of upgrading. 1 new elevator was installed while I was there. So I give them a "5" for effort. The complimentary breakfast at IHOP on the main floor was a very unexpected treat! I just hope the next project will be to take care of the room temperature. The air conditioning unit in the room cooled the room somewhat, however, the humidity in the room is unreal!! I could not get my hair dry after a shower and washing-finally gave up and went out with frizzy hair.

Pros: Pros: Shuttle to the Metro station.
Pros: Shuttle to the Metro station. Cons: Elevators not working. It almost took half an hour to go my floor from lobby because of one only functioning elevator and that was occupied by the hotel and cleaning staff. I eventually took staircases to go to the floor I was located. Poor services.

This hotel is in TREMENDOUS need of an upgrade. One of the two elevators didn't work. We found roaches in our room. Not a good experience.

Pros: The staff was courteous , friendly and informative.
Cons: Facelift hard sticking , slamming doors, commodes that keep running
Location: Food within walking distance
The hotel had one slow elevator( they are renewing). The hotel is in need of a face lift
