The hotel was new with nice modern style. Lobby was clean and neat! Our room was well manicured w/a beautiful king size bed with super white sheets! After a great nights sleep we awoke and saw 2 roaches in our room! I took a pic on my phone and showed the front desk staff. The hotel front desk rep was great! Very understanding and refunded our full visit. Expedia followed thru also! Overall I would rent a room with them again just at a different location.

When we checked in the night staff was not helpful and double charged me but it taken care of in a few days because of holiday. The rest of our stay was amazing. House keeping was awesome! Only about 15 minutes from metro and passed many shops and restaurants on the way. Will definitely stay again.

Very convenient to Mt. Vernon. About 20 minutes to Old Town Alexandria. Pretty typical Hampton Inn only more expensive being close to DC.

Just one word: Rude!! I was trying to change rooms as they put me in a larger room with an adjoining door. The response I got was no! Since I booked with a third party (Expedia), she said they cannot authorize a change of any kind. Now, this hotel had plenty of rooms it may have had a quarter of their rooms occupied. They suggested the next time I book directly through them and not through Expedia. The second night of my stay, a large group checked into the adjoining room and was making a lot of noise at 11 pm. I called the front desk and was repeatedly cut off from explaining why I was calling; then he abruptly hung up. I then went to the front desk only to deal with the same rudeness and again he continued to interrupt me, he obviously didn't want to deal with calling loud guests or moving me to another room. Poor customer service!!
