$26 for parking in a suburban VA hotel is too high. $99 for the room and $26 for parking makes. I sense.

Nice stay, but a little disappointing

We've stayed here for the past 4 Thanksgiving weekends and enjoyed it. The room was nice. It had a great view and it was a nice weekend. But when we turned down the bed, it actually felt a little "sandy" or gritty. One of the pillows was blood stained, but turned under so I didn't notice it until the morning. The elevators didn't seem to work well, but they had a crew come in and fix it. Being on the 22nd fl. was nice but it took almost 15 minutes for hot water to get up to us. (Thanksgiving weekend) which wasn't the greatest. But, the location is nice, the bar, gift shop and lobby are all very nice and the staff was relatively friendly.

Conference Guest Check Out Choas.

Check in was a beeze. One issue was waited 20 I minutes for elevator due to conference guests checking out and 20 minutes to get back to the lobby for a wedding we were attending. Suggestion to avoid inconvenience of incoming guests to have large convention guests to check out in groups such as by groups by floor as not to inconvenience of others. thank you

hotel did not honor our reservation as booked

Pros: location
Cons: elevators they should honor reservations as booked and not give your room away to people who book through them
Location: near DC
the hotel gave us one king when we had booked 2 queens which was a big problem they claimed we had not booked a corner room at that rate but "upgraded" us because of the problem with the room being inadequate they blamed all the problems on the third party booking company generally we were treated like third class citizens because we did not book directly through them

Excellent Value and great shuttle service

Pros: The location was convenient and great shuttle service.
Location: Great shuttle service to local attractions and dining
The hotel staff was outstanding....checkin....restaurant.....concierge. However I was very uncomfortable with the number of animals in the hotel I observed. I am a pet owner, however I do not travel with my animals. I have asthma and allergies. Although you say the rooms are thoroughly cleaned after each animal stay, I am not comfortable that this occurs. I recommend designating rooms that pets have never been in like the non-smoking rooms.

okay for a business trip

upgraded my room to corner king room. the room was smelly but it was so much better than the courtyard marriott. (we moved from the courtyard marriott across from the hilton because we couldn't sleep one minute there-noise, filthy, not friendly.) we also dined at the restaurant near lobby. we had sushi and it was bad. concierge and front desk people were really really nice. the complimentary internet was sooo slow that we purchased fast internet for 10 dollars but that was so slow as well.
