Good stay but minor issues prevent top marks

Pros: Nice relaxed feel
Cons: Air conditioning Room service didnt give us toilet roll or coffee filters for couple of days.
Location: Very close to pinhal golf course. 25 min walk to vilamoura marina...which is well lit in evening and was safe to walk.
A really nice place to stay and the staff r so very helpful n friendly. The onsite restaurants are slightly more expensive than in vilamoura...one is purely a buffet at night. A nice feel to the place with 4 pools and a separate kids area. One pool is adult only. All r very nice but watch out for odd seagull divin down to the pool. But nice relaxin place hotel provide really nice towels and dont alliw guests to reserve beds with towels. The apartments are roomy and have most of what ya need. Ours had several items missin (corkscrew, spoon) ,the air conditioning in lounge sittin area didnt seem to work....came on but pumped out warm air, fortunately bedroom did work. Otherwise it does deliver a great place to stay.

4*, not 5*, lovely overall

Lovely, clean, spacious apartment. Hotel facilities great, and Vilamoura a great family location. Negative points: a 5* hotel should not charge 3€ a night for a travel cot, should not charge for wifi and generally not treat customers like cash cows. 5€ for a slush puppie....really???!! Would benefit from kids pools being heated. This may be rated 5*, but if you have stayed in a real 5* hotel, you will not agree with the hotel's rating. It is 4*. Staff were lovely, and super friendly with our baby. The shuttle to the marina and beach is great. We stayed at the beginning of October, so perhaps not a busy time, but it was a joy not to have to worry about a sun lounger! At 10:30 in the morning we were the only people by the pool - and not a single one was reserved. Wonderful. Lunch options a little limited I felt, and fairly pricey. We were 40 - 45€ each day for two of us, with one soft drink. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay,

Lovely location

I had a great stay as usual and whilst I only arrived home in he early hours I'm looking forward to my next visit! The staff are so accommodating with a great sense of humour as always.E

Amazing Holiday

Pros: Space in the apartments. The staff are great ambassadors - so professional and courteous - even the driver for the shuttle service was brilliant.
Cons: Frying pan needs replacing and some spatulas available to use on pans.
Location: The shuttle service is a must for this hotel to ensure all facilities are available at the Marina and Beach.
The whole experience was amazing - hotel - people - weather - resort. I could not complain about anything at the hotel other than a dog in a nearby villa barking constantly - night and day. The accommodation was first class - kitchen amazing with top of the range appliances, lounge and great balcony - bathrooms and bedrooms brilliant - even had lights in the wardrobe and great toiletries. We could sit out late afternoon and relax - we had patio furniture and sun loungers. The beach was spotless and again really nice. The Marina was first class and all restaurants served really nice food but quiet expensive. I will certainly be back and for two weeks next time !!!!

Relaxing holiday

Pros: We didn't use the hotel but it was very clean and well decorated with friendly staff.
Cons: We found the walk through the gardens at night to get back to the apartment were sometimes confusing, with some parts blocked off some nights.
Location: Location for us was was no problem as the shuttle and train were so good.
We had a two bedroom apartment in the As Cascatus which was very clean with everything a family needs, very modern and well decorated. Pools were beautiful with plenty of beds and different areas to try, the gardens are also well kept and clean. Pool staff execelant. There was a free bus shuttle to the beach which was great, with free sun beds, towels and parasol. The H20 restaurant for snacks and hot drinks, with frieldly staff and spotless toilets and showers. Also a fee shuttle to the harbour too, if you miss the shuttle you can always catch the land train, which you have to pay for but good fun.

Great hotel / apartments

Lovely hotel - 2 bed apartments are very spacious, clean and well equipped...quite a distance from the beach and Marina but free shuttle bus (less than 10 min journey) helps with that. Pool areas excellent as is service and food. Highly recommended.

Great 2 Bedroom Apartments

The apartments are spacious for a family. Very clean and quiet rooms at the back. The negatives are when you arrive in the morning the room was not ready until 4pm. This is later than we expected. We paid full price for breakfast then was told at check out that we could have had a vouchers at reception with a discount. We argued that no one told us this so how would we know. Still charged us the full price. Not very helpful!

Fab family accommodation

These apartments are brilliant, a one-bedroom apartment has a large living/dining room, separate kitchen will all appliances including dishwasher and washing machine, a big bathroom and bedroom! Because it is linked to the Hilton you can access all facilities, including gym and spa. The swimming pools are great, lots of options from baby to adult only pools. The only thing is, it is a bit of a distance to the marina but there is a shuttle bus and the Villamoura train stops every so plenty of transport options.
