An all round lovely lovely experience!

We had a 2 night stay, arriving on a Sunday morning and leaving on the Tuesday afternoon. We were able to use the hotel facilities for the entire time, leaving our bags at reception. On arrival, we were given a cool drink and cold face towel and facilities were explained by the receptionist. We had our room upgraded to one with a pool view, which was a nice surprise. We were given a voucher for a free bottle of wine if we had 2 main meals in the restaurant (we used this and had a top notch 3 course meal), a voucher for a 2nd drink half price (which we used on a cocktail each) and a voucher for a reduction on a massage, which we didn't use in the end. The hotel was clean, modern and had a luxurious feel. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was quiet and felt uncrowded, but busy enough to have a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and bar. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and very good, with an amazing amount of choice, including a few more unusual options. We used the spa facilities, gym, yoga room, pool, and had lunch outside on our last day. There were smart toilets by reception and toilets and showers by the spa/gym area we could use when we didn't have a room. The whole experience was thoroughly relaxing and felt like a real treat!
