staff were extremely friendly an helpful

Pros: clean, quite an friendly staff. very close to bus stop which takes you one way into faro an the other to the beach on the number 16 service an which ever way you go its only 2.20 euros. there's also the most amazing restaurant 5 minutes away. newly opened the week we were there, amazing food an so cheap. just walk out of hotel onto main road, same way for bus stop, then walk 2 mins past bus stop on right.
Cons: i really dont have a bad word to say about the hotel, i suppose if pushed being from UK a cooked breakfast even 1 day a week would have been nice, but im being picky.
Location: bus stop is 2 mins from hotel, number 16 bus takes you into faro (10 mins) or beach (15 mins) in other direction. excellent restaurant 5 mins up road

Convenient hotel

Good location as close to the airport and shopping centre but rooms are worn off, carpet stained, no kettle in the room as all Ibis hotels usually have.

A bit disappointing... But comfy bed.

Pros: The bed was confortable and powerful shower.
Cons: To be greated with a smile from staff and complimentary bottle of drinking water in room.
Location: By main road and close to bus stop to Faro and Airport.
Stayed one night at Ibis before flying home. Have to say this was the most disappointing stay of our tour round Portugal. Found the staff were lacking some level of customer service / friendliness. The shower flooded the bathroom as it was blocked, but this was sorted out once reported. Our room also seemed to smell of cigarettes when we returned after an evening out. But it was clean and basic, and the shower was good.

Hotel is correct and near the airport. swimming pool is the bonus

Hotel looks great in photos but there were loads of wasps around the pool and the air con in the room smelled really fusty. Menu does not contain vegetarian options (breakfast is OK).

Comfortable beds but poor ventilation. If you are staying request room on first floor that has been renovated. Second floor had carpet and leaking Ac vents.

Handy overnight location for Faro airport.

Pros: The bar being open on our arrival.
Cons: The rooms are in need of an update and the breakfast buffet needs seeting out in a better fashion.

We stayed overnight, were very pleased to find a bar facility available after a stressful journey. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when we were unable to re open the bathroom door. Fortunately no one was inside. It wqs very stiff and needed a lot of force. We didn't close it again during our stay! Breakfast buffet layout could be improved.
