Steril hotel but very comfortable with great locatPosted Oct 30, 2015
Pros: The little cation to beach and the room.
Cons: The amenities in hotel. Some information assistance.
Location: Beach is amazing. The village is within walking distance. Walk south on cliffs.
We had a very modern spacious room looking at the sea. Well-equipped room and very clean. The hotel itself had little character and the breakfast buffet was disappointing.

Back to Alvor and a new hotel experiencePosted Oct 29, 2015
Pros: Convenient location and good value for money.
Location: Well located for easy access to Alvor and its restaurants. Great facilities for walking along the estuary and suprised to see an indoor swimming pool
We have been visiting Alvor for last 18 years and decided to visit again for the second time this year in late October. Friends had advised us of their visit to Luna Bay, saying that it was in a good location, close to the village of Alvor and very near to the sea and glorious beach. We were not disappointed, the hotel was good value for money and an 11th floor studio apartment overlooking the sea was a bonus. Cleaning was undertaken daily and towels changed every four days. Staff were obliging, the reception area was well presented and guest facilities such as dining, bar and lounge were pleasing to the eye. The studio was well equipped for those who wanted to be self contained, with cooker, micro wave, and dishwasher. We will return.

We know the resort.Posted Oct 21, 2015
Pros: Couldn't fault it,staff, cleanliness ,comfort, position of hotel, breakfast excellent .
Cons: Tell guests not to drag furniture across floor in middle of the night. Some people have no concideration for others.
Location: Perfect location for beach activities & walking 10 minute stroll into town, bars & resaurants.
We love the beach in Alvor & the closeness of Luna Bay was one reason we chose it. The staff, cleanliness ,breakfast, comfortable rooms were all a big bonus and we'd definitely go back in the future. A good value for money hotel.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Needs drawers for clothes in room. Shower pressure poor at busy times. Excellent position near beach and restaurants.

Excellent, close to the beach and extremely clean.Posted Oct 9, 2015
Just came back yesterday 9/10/15. Looks just like the pics. I am a frequent traveller. I have travelled to USA, Asia, Caribbean, South America and Europe and always stay in 3-5* hotels. I can say with confidence that this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms very spacious and have everything you need in them. Customer service excellent, delt with enquiries or any issues immediately. Breakfast was nice. Pool was clean. The beach is literally a two minutes walk. Lots of places to eat out close by (walking distance). Check in is at 4pm but they do keep your bags for you. We arrived at around 13:00, left our bags then went to the beach and got something to eat. There are two lifts that work! I stayed in room 101. Not a Seaview but regardless the view was beautiful (palm trees and so on). My cousin stayed in room 109 with a lovely Seaview. This hotel is great for couples and singles. The area is very quiet and relaxing. Will be going back very soon. Book early as this hotel gets sold out!

Location: Walking distance to the beach, walking distance to the town........what's not to like?
Excellent value, so good we came back. There isn't too much to add to that without waffling.
