Wij vonden het een geweldig hotel.Posted Nov 1, 2015

Really good location, right in the heart of Albufeira. More like a 3 star then 4.

Lovely hotel centrally located.Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: Centrally located, clean,
Cons: The beds are very noisy, although the mattresses are comfortable, simply turning over in the night, is disturbing to anyone else in room.
Location: Good supermarkets right next door, good restaurant over the road. Taxi rank to the left of hotel. Would suit older holiday makers also.
Hotel is very clean, towels changed daily, which is nice. All amenities required are contained in this apartment. You have to pay a deposit for the remote control for TV, this was not written anywhere, but it is refunded. There is also a charge for the safe deposit box. Altogether a lively stay, hotel is used a lot for ( stag & hen) weekends. If you are travelling in high season this may not be so good? Hotel is equi- distant from " the strip, to the old town". Also located right next door to supermarket Continente, and across the road Pingo Doce, this means not "lugging" groceries- fantastic.

Great locationPosted May 5, 2015
Cons: The beds or mattresses
Lovely hotel in a great location to get the the strip or old town with a supermarket to the left and also across the road. Great staff with good local knowledge and very friendly. The only downside on my stay was the beds, they were rock hard which resulted in back and shoulder pain and we took the mattresses off the sofa bed in the living room to try and resolve this and it did help a little. Apart from this the hotel was perfect for our stay with a lovely cafe on the corner less than a minute was for a cheeky jug of sparkling sangria after a day at the pool.

Lovely apartment but very noisy accommodationPosted May 5, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed at the Paladim from Sunday to Thursday. Having read previous reviews I requested a non-ground floor room when i was booking as previous guests said it was quite noisy. Our flight landed at Faro at 8pm and we arrived at the hotel at 9pm, the receptionist booked us into apartment 1, on the ground floor, right next to the Bar which was playing karoke very loudly (we could hear it at reception). I asked for another room, in a quieter part of the hotel and was informed that they had none, she said if we have arrived earlier we would have had a choice of rooms. I stated that I had requested a non ground floor room but I got no satisfaction. We were changed to apartment no. 6 and we could still hear the karoke from the bar even at the end of the hall. I was disappointed that they did not take notice of my request as I am a very light sleeper and a holiday is all about rest and relaxation, not sleepless nights! The apartment was quite spacious and very clean, it had everything you would need on hols and we had a large sunny balcony, the only issues was the noise, not only could we hear the traffic from the road, we could also hear noise from the apartment above us, I could hear the person walking barefoot across the ceiling above us! I would not advise anyone with children to stay at the Paladim as they would not get any sleep. The location was perfect, easy walking distance to Old Town and The Strip.
