Pros: Le personnel des restaurants et de la réception sont très sympa mais tout le reste est à jeter.
Hotel en cours de rénovation donc certaines chambres sont très vieilles, déco, sechoire, non digne d'un 5 étoiles. Peinture se décolle sur toute la devanture. En plus un coté de l'hotel abrite une boite de nuit donc impossible de dormir jusqu'à 6h30 !!! Le service de ménage ne parle pas anglais et sonne dans votre chambre à 23h pour vous amener des serviettes malgré le signe ne pas déranger. Manager peut compréhensif et souvent dépassé par les évènements. Je ne recommande absolument pas.

Dommage que les étages 1,2 et 7 ne soient pas rénovés comme les autres. Ces étages la ne méritent pas les 5 étoiles de l hôtel, femmes de chambre ne parlent pratiquement pas l anglais, boîte de nuit (le Seven) en bas de l'hôtel côté mer donc beaucoup de nuisances chaque nuit. Personnel du petit déjeuner extrêmement gentil et large choix

Location: Location = WOW
Beautiful location. The front of the hotel faces onto the marina, and the back of the hotel faces onto the beach. Superb spot!

This hotel is in a great location but unfortunately it is not 5 star. It seems a bit old and some work is required to modernise it. Not 5 star service either! Some staff very nice but some clearly could not be bothered. Expensive considering it really isn't a true 5 star experience.

Pros: Great location, and food.
Cons: Costs - very high for simple things i.e.. slushy drinks and hot dogs
Location: Brilliant location, beach one side and marina the other. Lots of boat trips and shopping.
The hotel is lovely, brilliant location, beach one side and marina the other. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. the breakfast was fantastic, so much to choose from. The lunch food from the poolside bar was great too. Purobeach Lakeside - what a lovely venue, completely under utilised in my opinion, we only discovered it by accident when walking back from the beach cafe one evening. Needs more advertising in the hotel and in the local area, it is such a 'cool' place to hang out and the food was great too. I don't think guests realise it is there and that it is open to all. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others and return. My only negative was our room was above the "Side bar" which was quite noisy until late at night and was also next to the lifts which were also noisy from early in the morning. The costs of food and drinks were high too, but I guess that's what you expect at a 5* hotel. Although I feel very strongly that 6 Euros for a small "slushy" for the children is extremely high!

Cons: Wifi was intermittent - didn't complain cause after all we were on holiday, but teenage son can't live without it !!!
Location: Fabulous - no need to leave resort.
What an absolute brilliant hotel, no need to leave resort . Out the door of hotel - Sun beds situated around pool and green, open the gate onto beach. Out another door - onto vilamoura marina, beautiful restaurants - about 30no., shops, yachts etc. Such a peaceful holiday in a stunning place, will definite recommend.

Not really 5 star experience. Had to wait till 3.30 till check in. Poor service at the pool restaurant. All a bit chaotic and disorganised. Had to go through some rigmarole of joining a special 'club' just to get free wi-fii which should be free anyway. Disappointing.

Put in standard accommodation on 1st floor where the decor was at least 15 years old. Closer to a 3-star hotel than 5-star. No free wifi or water. Guests were not what I would expect at a 5-star hotel.
