Need To Unwind
This was one of the best vacations I have had for truly unwind and relax for the day to day grind. It's a stop the world and get off hotel. The staff is incredible and truly know the meaning of service and will help you when you need it, all with a big genuine smile and never seems to be anything else from housekeeping to the front desk to the morning breakfast. Which is a great way to start your day. Minutes walk to the beach and the beautiful waters of the sea. My balcony room was spacious and had a fantastic view of the harbour. Although more set to the couple environment being single it was just what the doctor ordered to totally feel free without any interruption of my rest. A short drive or a good walk and you find the downtown marketplace which has the charm of old Italy. Combine all of these factors with extremely clean hotel to use as a midpoint to activities around a quaint Italian town. The only drawback is the internet is weak but you can always use it provided in the lobby where it is regular use as normal. I will definitely return there again with a friend to really enjoy a couples paradise.

Hotel in a quiet location at Bosa Marina
The hotel is situated in a quiet, picturesque part of Sardinia, 5 minutes from Bosa beach and a 15 minute walk into the town. On arriving check in was very efficient, however we had a problem with the safe in the room which wasn't working. This was resolved reasonably quickly by moving us into a different room. The room itself was fairly spacious with a patio to sit outside, along with satellite TV, air conditioning and an en suite bathroom. My one criticism would be that the tiled floor wasn't very clean, so fotwear was required at all times. Breakfast offered decent variety to cater for a range of tastes and the staff were always happy to help with any issues where they could. I would rate the hotel itself as offering reasonable value, with room for improvement needed to move it into the excellent bracket.

It was ok
The service is polite and friendly to begin with but then if there are any problems then you're just left to it. We let reception know that the TV cable for the TV was in really bad condition and it was the reason why the TV wasn't working. Also, that the batteries needed replacing in the digital safe as they were leaking. Nobody came to fix the problems. Instead, I tried to make the best of a bad job with the cable and got most of the channels to come up and just hoped that our personal belongings wouldn't go missing. Don't let the renovation work put you off, I think they've done their best to keep it 'behind the scenes'. The cleanliness of the room and hotel was good. Decor and presentation was nice in the reception area and breakfast area, the same isn;t reflected in the room. Location is only good if you just want to go walking to the beach which is approximately 15 minutes walk. If you want to go to Bosa old town then choose a hotel closer to that area because it's a long way to walk. If you're travelling by car then obviously location won't be a problem. Hope this helps.

We thought the Hotel Baja Romantica was nice and clean. Everything you would expect for the price you pay. Our only negative is that it doesn't have a pool or a bar - which would have been nice for us.

Amabilidad del dueño y empleados.
Nos pusieron en una habitacion muy pequeña, sin tv y el frigorifico no funcionaba. Al dia siguiente nos cambiaron. Amabilidad del dueño y buena respuesta a las quejas. Fin de semana de la fiesta de la cerveza y habia over booking en el hotel.

Slitet hotell men dåligt läge.
Slitet mörkt hotellrum med trasig dusch. Fin balkong däremot. Tyvärr har hotellet inte ordnat så man kan gå ned till floden, något som vore mycket enkelt. Frukosten ok, men inte fantastisk. Läget är nog värst. Inte supernära stranden i Bosa och in till vackra byn Bosa behöver man bil eller motsvarande. Går inte att gå, i alla fall inte med barn. Wi-fi fungerade ej. Nu betalade vi väldigt lite för rummet, så kanske "får man vad man betalar för".

Außer der lauten Lüftung im Bad, die immer an ist, sobald das Licht an ist war das Zimmer okay! Im Bad fehlten ein Haken oder Stange für das Handtuch! Das Frühstück, das ich am Sonntag hatte, war schlecht! Schlechter Kaffee und alle Backwaren waren hart (außer der Toast) Müsli gibt es auch nicht! Wer Wert auf ein gutes FS legt, ist hier falsch......

Hotellet har en fin placering med gå afstand til Bosa centrum samt strand. Generelt set var der hvad vi havde brug for men som nævnt i tidligere bedømmelser er det ikke 4 stjernet standard. Værelserne fremstår gammelt særligt badeværelset er i dårlig stand. Der var myrer og badeforhænget havde ikke været rengjort i lang tid. Ud af væggen hang rør. Dog fin lille terrasse med stole og god udsigt. God variation i morgenmaden omend den første dag var der mangelfuld opfyldning. Generelt set er det dog ikke utænkeligt at jeg ville vælge det igen, men jeg kunne også finde på at finde et andet sted.

4 Stars at the entrance, but not really
Baja Romantica was build as a 4 star hotel, but some things are missing to really earn them. Staff is worth it. Breakfast is not bad, but e.g. tea is only in tea bags and all coffee variations do come out of a small machine with instant ingredients. Room has a good air conditioning and a refrigerator, but besides one chair no other possibility to sit. And no information at the room about how to use phone, TV, reach the reception and other facilities at the hotel. Some pictures of the hotel are misleading, e.g. the restaurant on the boat. That is about 500 m away at the beach and not right at the hotel. The area around the hotel is not so nice, luckily it is build in a way that all rooms have a view to the river/harbour.

Vorrei condividere la mia esperienza all'hotel baja romantica, che è stata tra le peggiori che io abbia mai sperimentato. Ho prenotato una camera classic a distanza di una settimana dal soggiorno. 3 giorni dopo ricevo una mail che la mia prenotazione era stata annullata dall'hotel. Il giorno seguente ho ricevuto una telefonata dal direttore dell'hotel baja romantica che, a sua detta, per non scontentare gli ospiti, nonostante le camere dell'hotel fossero tutte piene, mi avrebbe trovato una sistemazione in una villetta con piscina. A queste condizioni io ho deciso di non annullare la prenotazione e godermi il soggiorno. Mentre eravamo in viaggio verso Bosa, a distanza di un'ora dal nostro arrivo, ricevo una chiamata dal direttore, che mi informava che la nostra sistemazione sarebbe stata un b&b, in base alla tariffa che avevo pagato. Nonostante io rimarcassi che non era quello su cui eravamo rimasti d'accordo,mi faceva presente che purtroppo non c'erano più camere disponibili a Bosa. Così, al nostro arrivo, ci hanno lasciato in attesa nella hall per un'ora e mezza se non di più prima di farci accompagnare al b&b, senza uno straccio di scuse se non "ci dispiace per l'inconveniente". La sistemazione non aveva certo i comfort di ciò che avevo prenotato: no aria condizionata, niente tv; per cui dopo le diverse discussioni, il nostro soggiorno a Bosa non è stato ciò che ci aspettavamo. Ho visto poca professionalità e poca attenzione al cliente. Non lo consiglio e non ci tornerò.

I orden for en enkelt overnatning
Hotellet er slidt og virker som om det skal lukke. Room service kom kl. 18.15.man kunne ikke få et glas hvid eller Rose vin. Personalet var meget sød. Morgenmad var super. Man sidder i en telt som er meget luftig og åben med det skønneste udsigt. Fint for et enkelt ophold med trist sted at holde ferie.

A lovely stay with my sister and my mother.
Our stay at Baja Romantica hotell, was a lovely experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety. The evenings that we had dinner at the hotell, the food was well composed with an original Italian taste. The location of the hotel was within walking distance to the beach, and it was possible to walk to the town center. There is also a tourist sightseeing train that goes between the center of Bosa and the marina, close to the hotel. There are many restaurants to choose from both at the Marina and in Bosa center. We even saw dolphins from our balcony at the hotel at three ocasions. The hotel manager was very keen to make our visit a pleasant one, which it was.

Premetto che sono un assiduo viaggiatore e che ho una certa esperienza di soggiorno in Italia e all'estero e con rammarico , per la prima volta , debbo dare una recensione negativa all'hotel . In dettaglio : colazione inadeguata x qualità e , anche se x poco , quantità . Il secondo giorno camera non riordinata ( quindi non pulita e senza il ricambio del materiale di consumo ) senza spiegazioni convincenti e al mio cenno garbato di rimostranza mi è stato risposto che non si aspettavano così tanti ospiti. Che dire : spero che questa critica possa essere costruttiva x la gestione dell' hotel che peraltro risulta ben ubicato e con gradevoli interni e vista magnifica.

Accueil lamentable!
Même si sur internet on annonçait clairement que toutes les chambres disposaient d'un balcon et d'un mini bar, nous nous sommes retrouvés à l'arrière d'un bâtiment de l'autre côté de la route avec vue sur fond de cour sans balcon ni frigo. La réceptionniste Francesca malgré notre intervention, nous a expliqué que nous avions choisi une 'classic room" sans frigo et balcon. Pour aller déjeuner nous devions traverser une route achalandée et descendre du troisième étage sans ascenseur. La réceptionniste a rejeté la faute sur hotel.com. Il serait souhaitable de vérifier avec l'hôtel qui dit vrai.....

Gute Lage, waren auf der Durchreise.
Hotel am Fluss, schöne Gartenanlage. Strand gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Ruhige Lage etwas ausserhalb dem Dorf. Zimmer grosszügig, sauber, mit Aussicht auf die Gartenanlage, gut ausgestattet. Schöner grosser Strand. Würden wieder kommen.

Hotel familiar, habitacionoes muy confortables con todo lo necesario (nevera, secador, caja fuerte) buenas vistas y muy limpio. Desde el hotel se llega con un pequeño paseo a la zona marítima, el casco historíco a un poquito más 2 km, aunque para conocer la zona es necesario tener coche. El pueblo de bosa es precioso, no es el tipo pueblo turístico. El personal es muy amable sobre todo Simone en los desayunos es super atento y alegre.

Hotel nuovo,accogliente e con bella veduta dalla terrazza della camera. Bella la parte dell'hotel su cui si affacciano le camere,un prato su cui si fa colazione e che arriva fino al fiume. Peccato la parte davanti con ingresso non segnalato,ampio spiazzo ghiaioso e polveroso (adibito a parcheggio ) ed una costruzione incompiuta che copre parte dell'hotel, tutto nell'area di proprieta' dello stesso. Purtroppo manca l'ascensore (strano in un albergo nuovo !!) e, arrivando di sera, non c'e' nessuno che ti aiuti con i bagagli. Colazione buona ma migliorabile. Buona posizione all'inizio di Bosa Marina, spiaggia raggiungibile a piedi. Hotel certamente consigliabile.
