About this property

Beautiful Gem of a Home in Algoma Wisconsin

We would like to present our beautifully restored historic home for your recreation, relaxation and enjoyment. This home has all the modern amenities, while maintaining the charm and character of a 1920’s brick bungalow style. It is open and airy with beautiful views from every window. This home features comfortable sleeping for 6 with 2 King sized beds and a queen sized sofa bed. The bathroom was recently remodeled and features a rainfall showerhead. The views from the living room with gas fireplace, formal dining room and breakfast nook adjacent to the kitchen are of Lake Michigan, the Ahnapee River and the Algoma Marina. Some of the wonderful things that Algoma has to offer are: swimming at the beautiful Crescent Beach at Lake Michigan, hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, hunting, wine and beer tastings, world class dining, within a 5 to 7 minute walk from the house, and the amazing North Water Street Bakery is two doors away. We are a quick 45 drive from Lambeau Field, the home of the famous Green Bay Packers football team. Sturgeon Bay is 20 minutes by car, and the best of Door County is a one hour car ride for a great day trip. The walkability factor is excellent to everything in Algoma. We really love this home, and know that you will too.

Great place!

This property is beautiful with all the needs anyone would need right down to all size cell cords if you forgot yours. Great location. Owners responded immediately with any of concerns or questions I had. Thanks again Cathy and Rob

Great wkd

Great little getaway wkd. Close to Door County. The lake was right down the road. We found Von Steihl winery. Great wine. Better than those up in the peninsula. Yup, I’m sticking to my opinion. Property was as advertised. Owners were more than easy to deal with from booking to leaving.

Excellent stay!

We had an amazing stay at this property. Rob and Catherine were a pleasure to work with and always responded right away to our questions. This house is very spacious for a family of five or six. The house was fully equipped with everything and to name a few - games, extra blankets and bedding, plenty of towels, coffee and etc. We created wonderful family memories and I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The town itself was great and we arrived at the start of Shanty days, which was super fun for the kids.

Perfect vacation house

House is very well kept and large enough for everybody to get their own space. Location is amazing with plenty of places within walking distance. We had 6 guys stay for fishing trip. Property is big enough to store boat trailer and vehicles. Walking distance to Marina. Fishing was great and locals were very friendly with helping us get on the fish.

Home away from home!

This property is perfect for a family. We have three sons and they were all able to have separate beds and bedrooms - that is important for keeping peace on a family trip. The kitchen was clean and stocked with basic necessities. We had everything we needed for a wonderful trip.
