Good location

Posted Jul 1, 2017
The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the train station, quiet and safe area. The staff was helpful and provided all information we needed. The room is clean , bed is comfortable. The only lack is no air conditioner, there is a fan instead. Overall is a good hotel to stay .

Very good location. Excellent location for nightlife. Staff were helpful. Bed not the greatest and the shower is basic. Good though.

a fair budget choice, not more

Posted Jan 31, 2015 on Hotels
We upgraded for the superior double. Great location but it was very noisy throughout the night and morning - both from outside the hotel and inside. There was no elevator and the night service seemed somewhat unwilling to help my partner carry the suitcase. Tiny bathroom with hot water working sporadically. Room was very well decorated but not clean enough and bed was uncomfortable. Not a bad choice for a budget hotel but cant say I will be back.

should be better

Pros: Good things: location, place is clean.
Cons: Bad things: no lift, no tv, no telephone, no blow dryer, no mini fridge, no coffee facilities.
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Various rooms, better and worse. In general it's a fancy hostel not a hotel.

Spacious room, good location

Good sized room that is well finished. We particularly liked the stone walls. The room was warm, despite the time of year (December) and spotlessly clean. Located smack bang in the middle of Porto, this is perfect for exploring the city. Lello is just up the road and there main square, is literally around the corner. Just a few things to note: make sure you request breakfast the evening before as you can't pay on the day. Also, the hotels.com specifications state there are tvs in the room. In our case (room 8) this wasn't true. There's a tv downstairs in reception along with books and magazines, but definitely not in the room!

Perfect everything

Location right in the center of the city, surrounded by cool bars and restaurants. Amazingly helpful staff, clean, big rooms, and all the trimmings and so very affordable. There are absolutely no faults

The staff was great and very helpful in suggesting local gems. The hotel was clean and fresh. Continental breakfast was yummy and wifi was a major plus. Location was great. Walking distance to major metro station: Sao Bento, giving you access to all of Porto. Great Great value!

It's just a bed and breakfast, nothing else.
