A great hotel close to all attractions.Posted Nov 29, 2015
Pros: The hotel was very comfortable and situated in a typical area of a Spanish town, with local people going about their daily activities.
Cons: A wider choice of dinner menu would have encouraged us to eat in the hotel restaurant once or twice during the week, rather than outside every evening
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of all the main attractions of Alicante.
The hotel was very accessible from the airport by use of public transport, namely the inexpensive C6 bus, a journey which takes about 15 to 30 minutes. The hotel was extremely comfortable with very helpful staff and good facilities, including a small gymnasium, a sauna and steam room and a charming roof top solarium as well as a bar and restaurant. Although it is a city hotel in a very 'Spanish' area of town, used by lots of business people and Spanish tourists, it is within walking distance of all the main attractions of Alicante, including the Old Town, the St Barbara Castle, the splendid Explanada de Espana and Postiguet beach, the Art Galleries MUBAG and MACA, the small Museums, the splendid shopping areas and large numbers of bars, cafeterias and restaurants. It is also within easy walking distance of the Tram Train station at Luceros, from where it is possible to travel inexpensively to numerous stations along the coast to the north of Alicante; these include places such as Benidorm and, much further north, Denia.

Good central locationPosted Nov 26, 2015
I wanted a reasonably priced hotel central to Alicante. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't use many of the facilities as didn't stay long but I did walk out for dinner at night and also walked to the marina in about 20 mins. I would stay again for a similar trip

Central positionPosted Nov 17, 2015
Pros: Pretty much eveything
Cons: Room allocation
Stayed three nights. I was initially allocated a room on the seventh floor that was obviously "a smoker". Reception were however quite happy to change this to a slightly smaller room on the eight floor (I was on my own so didn't mind). Would have saved a little time and minor inconvenience had I been asked if I wanted smoking or non-smoking. Other than that, the staff were excellent and the breakfast was `average' but quite sufficient.

Very comfortable hotel in AlicantePosted Nov 13, 2015
Pros: There was nothing I didn't like.
Location: The better shops were nearer the train station rather than around the hotel. There were lots of cafes and restaurants within a 15 minutes walk.
Very nice modern hotel in a great location in Alicante between the bus and train stations. Twenty minute walk to the harbour and beach. Bus and train stations 10 - 15 minutes walk. The room was one of the biggest rooms I have had in a hotel. Both the room and bathroom was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent. Would stay again.

Great location and a great hotel.Posted Oct 11, 2015
Pros: Room, bathroom, bed.
Cons: Kettle in bedroom would have been brilliant. Restaurant opened at 8.30pm a bit late in the evening for us.
Location: Supermarket opposite, plus department stores nearby, walking distance to marina, beech and castle. Excellent location for us.
Very clean high standard rooms. Brilliant, perfect for our short beak.

Comfortable hotelPosted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: The lobby area and the al fresco area.
Cons: New bedroom quilts to match the updated lobby decor.
Location: Close to El Cortes Ingles and Mercadonna. Comfortable walk to the castle.
Great hotel for the price, very large. Room quilts are a bit out dated but otherwise the room is clean and comfortable. For some, only water in the fridge is a bit strange but as there is a supermarket directly across the road, you can easily store drinks in the fridge. Breakfast is pretty good too, loved the donuts!
