I'll start for the negative things to look out for:
- the hotel, and the surrounding area, all provide a lower than average dining experience.
- the shower, regardless of how you'd wash, always caused the bathroom floor to be flooded.
- the air con wasn't as useful as we wanted, we relied on ventilation from the outside most of the time
- the TV is awful to use.
- there is no sufficient parking in the area
As you can see, I'm being very picky because this hotel is actually very good value for money:
- It's right on the edge of old town, away from the drunken revellers.
- If you're lucky, you'll get a spot with a decent view of the sea too.
- The rooms are some of the cleanest rooms in all of Benidorm
- The wifi is of a sufficient speed
- The staff are all friendly and helpful
Top tips:
- If you have a rental car you can park on the road Calle Marqués de Comillas for 1 euro every 2 hours during peak and for free during the rest of the time. Use the Whoosh app to park so you don't have to keep going to the car
- If you want to eat anywhere nice, go to the beach past old town, with the road called "Av. Madrid". There is great food there
- If you go down for breakfast, it usually gets busy at around 9 so hit it at 8 for some peace and great views of the sea while you eat.
- If you want to go to the supermarket, the road Calle Marqués de Comillas has a few at the western end. Don't fool for the crazy tourism prices in the old town!
