Can do better!

The staff were friendly, but the whole place needs updating. The bathroom was dreadful. There was no fan and walking past the bathrooms en route to our room was not a happy experience! The door to the outside sitting area did not open. The bed was old and the sheets did not fit. The cleaners just pulled up the bedclothes without making the bed and the bathroom was not cleaned while we were there (3 nights). I ended up cleaning it. The restaurant was over priced and very slow - we waited at least 45 mins for something to arrive.

convenient location

Pros: A good large room however the carpark is some distance from the room.
Cons: Breakfast charges need to be clarified.
Our offer included buffet breakfast but when we arrived for breakfast we were advised that we could only have the continental breakfast and would have to pay extra for the hot buffet.

OK für eine Nacht

Wir hatten dieses Hotel für eine Nacht gebucht, um am nächsten Tag mit "The Ghan" nach Adelaide weiter zu reisen. Dafür war es ok, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt war es mir persönlich zu schmutzig (Wollflusen unter dem Bett, Schmutz in den Ecken). Insgesamt wirkte das ganze etwas heruntergekommen auf mich. ABER das Personal war sehr nett.

10 min walk to centre of town, with its own bar.

Pros: Location
Cons: Bathrooms could do with an upgrade.
Location: Short walk to the CBD and bars/ restaurants.
Staff were excellent, even remembering my name. Good secure parking.

Ideal Location

Pros: Size of the room
Cons: The Restaurant Menu or the cook.
Location: Close walking to most places in Alice Springs.
Loved the room it was an ideal size to spread out our gear, close to Treagar Park for AFL Football and easy walking to most attractions and for pickups. The only negative is the so called restaurant, the Menu looks excellent but what come out on the plate is nothing like it, only ate one meal and one breakfast not value for money I'm afraid. But still like my stay, there are plenty of good restaurants in Alice Springs as we found out.

Hotel rooms are very run down

Close to town

Pros: Location
Location: Not a lot need to go away from Alice Springs
Two overnight stops. 10 min stroll from the centre were the cafes shops and restaurants are found. Pool ok. Alarm call fine.
