Nice hotel, great location. As a single traveller I felt safe and had all I needed. Staff friendly and mostly helpful.

Breakfast issues and Room TLC

Pros: Was close to town center and other activities
Cons: Bathroom, beds, mopping of floors, getting breakfast inclusions clearly stated on booking paperwork would clear up any misunderstandings.
Location: Good. West MacDonald Ranges, Desert Park, Telegraph Station, Anzac Hill, Botanic Gardens. Would recommend the Overlanders Steakhouse Restaurant.
Booked with 'buffet breakfast' included - staff argued that it was only continental breakfast on check-in - produced my documentation and they supposedly fix it. On first breakfast the lady said it was continental, another discussion. On check-out they wanted me to pay for breakfast another more stern discussion. They waved it - but it is annoying to have to go through this again and again. If the booking was suppose to be only continental then it should 'clearly' state it. The room was ok - the floors need a good mop, it felt gritty under feet, the beds were sagging in the middle and the bathroom needs some TLC. Begin part of the Accor group I would have expected better. The restaurant was closed for dinner, which was disappointing and wasn't told upon check-in - this was one of the main reasons for choosing this motel to have a restaurant onsite. They did have limited meals at the bar and are supposedly updating the menu to more bar food type meals.

Pros: Close to the center of town.
Cons: Facility needs updating.
The first room air conditioning was broken. The inside temperature was 36 degrees with turn the AC. My husband had complained about it then the hotel provide us the up grade room. It was very nice room.

We had a lovely timr staying at the Ibis. Room was clean and tidy. The swimming pools were great after a long hot day.

Stay away from this place!

I chose ibis Styles based on having a "breakfast buffet" included in my room rate, and was VERY disappointed to find out that this was only a cold buffet, with canned fruit and cereal. The property is quite run-down and my room was only marginally clean. I was on the first level, and the cleaning staff left the sliding glass door open/unlocked a couple times during my stay! I do NOT recommend this place.
