I’ve visited the General Lewis on several occasions for their swoon worthy weekend brunch service, but this was my first time staying on property. I have to say, the accommodations did not disappoint. This historical inn exudes charm and blends old world attributes with modern conveniences seamlessly. History buffs will enjoy the many antique artifacts featured throughout the hotel that serve as both decor and a peek at the past. Contemporaries will enjoy the on-site bar and lounge where unique libations, and many of their ingredients, are developed in-house.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, safe. The room with king size bed was just what we needed. We had stayed in a room with queen size bed previously and it was quite tight. The staff is wonderful.

Safe but we were in basement room. Dark. Had to take bedroom lamp into living room to see. Overhead light extra bright .

The room was very clean, closet smelled a litte weird but not unbearable. Having the kitchen, living room was great with a full sized fridge! Not to far down the road was everything u need. I would definitely recommend this place. I did not like theyre check out process, apparently the office is closed on Saturday, i had no idea what to do with the key. I ended up dropping it in the mail slot of the office door. Hopefully thats acceptable. Over all great stay
