Not sure why

Maintenance man, Nice person but doesn't maintain the hotel. Otherwise, nice place.
Since all La Quinta hotels are lacking this, I am truly puzzled why this hotel chain doesn't take more effort to do more for maintaining thier properties.
Simple stuff, fix plumbing, replace old torn toilet seat, repaint doors, replace rusted light fixtures. The hotel would do themselves a favor to maintain the mildew on all window air conditioning units and replacing the dark out shades since majority are torn. That doesnt mean stick a giant piece of tape on it and call it done.
Staff at front desk is always great, but don't say if maintenance won't I will, then not.
I had a near by room, standing open for 24hours.
Never saw any kind of walking station for dogs, I walked around the property and saw a closed trash can, is that the idea of a station? How about dog bags or something like a welcome gift for people who have a dog with a couple of doggy bags and maybe a treat.
Not many pet friendly hotels out there, since you are one maybe offer some emergency dog food or water bowls just a thought.
