Great value hotel

Pros: The room was clean and appeared recently updated. It had all of the desired amenities: iron, coffee pot, safe, ice bucket, refrigerator. The bed was
Cons: Can't change this, but you need to know it's two story and there is no elevator. Ask for accommodations if you're disabled. Also, pets are allowed.
Location: This is a great location if you're visiting the Allen or Plano area. Easy access to Hwy 75. Mall nearby. Lots of restaurants.
Overall, this was a good value and I would stay here again.

Horrible Experience

The hotel had roaches and I didn't feel comfortable at all.

My apologies for your experience. The hotel has not had roaches in 20 years, but unfortunately we had a hoarder check into the hotel 2 weeks ago and brought them with her. She is gone, but left behind a cleanup. We should have this resolved very soon and we hope you give us another opportunity in the future.

Nice hotel for the price

Pros: the hotel was near our destination.
The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. The coffee maker in the lobby was not working properly and a staff member repaired it and made sure everyone got coffee.

Not great, not bad

Older hotel, a bit run down. Charges same as newer hotels in the area. Haven't been very impressed with choice hotels at all.

I'm glad we were acceptable for you, but we want to be great. Your right, it is an older hotel and we are in the process of continuing hotel upgrades. We want to be the best priced in Allen, so we will keep an eye on that. Don't give up on Choice hotels!

Terrible

Roach in the bathtub. Sticky bathroom floor. No water pressure at all. AC fan wouldn't stay on like it should. And to top it off...the low battery alarm on the smoke detector started beeping at 4am. The sheets were so stretched out that the fitted sheep kept coming off the (uncovered) mattress. Dirty diaper under the bed (obviously not ours). Worst hotel stay....ever.

Jessica, My apologies for your experience at the hotel. We strive to satisfy every guest and will look into and correct your concerns. I wish you would of brought it to our attention during your stay so we could of made it right or moved you to another room, but thank you for your input because we can't improve the hotel unless we know the things we did wrong as well as what we try to do right.

Comfortable and clean

The staff was very kind and friendly. I love when they make you feel welcome. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Waffles, cereal, pastries, and they had an awesome hot beverage machine that made a variety of hot and cold drinks. Very cool. The pool was really nice. The water temperature was great, it wasn't freezing. Our beds and rooms were very clean and comfortable and there is a lot to do close by.
