Tucked away from busy streets...

Pros: Now part of Choice Hotels chain but recently taken over from Hilton chain. Previous assets (bedding, etc.) were retained for comfort...
Cons: Previous hotel chain used very heavy bed covers that could be replaced by something lighter...
Location: Hard to find location. Hotel is located away from busy streets (in industrial area) but the building is still adjacent to a major Interstate...
Recently (2 months ago) taken over from another hotel operator. Location is a bit hard to find...

Pleasant surprise

Hotel was changed due to overbooking. Ended up being a very pleasant surprise. Hotel just finished renovations and everything was brand new. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would stay again if ever in the area

The hotel was set back into an out of the way area but not too far off the main road. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. We did miss having a microwave in the room but it was definitely not a deal breaker. Breakfast was very nice and the breakfast area was larger than most and quite comfortable. We would stay at this hotel again.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel

Pros: Convenience, comfort, breakfast, beds, showers
Cons: Key cards were temperamental - sometimes it took several tries to get the key card to work.
Location: it's a utilitarian hotel, close to all the colleges in Allentown.
We had a comfortable stay at this hotel; it was the Hampton Inn when we checked in, but was changing over to The Allentown Park Hotel on March 27. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the shower is great. We also liked the breakfast variety.

Good Hotel

Pros: Free Breakfast
Cons: Thicker windows, anti-noise insulation to mitigate closeness to I-78
Location: Close to all office parks and easy access to all business and highway.
The only challenge with this hotel is it's proximity to I-78. But a good white noise generator app on your cell phone will help mitigate that condition. Get odd numbered rooms as well. Breakfast was good. Overall very good and another good example of a Hampton Inn.

Not Happy with this hotel.

Pros: Nice breakfast
Cons: The noise from the hall wall came through the walls.
Since I made my reservation through expedi.com the person behind the desk refused to give me a receipt for my stay. The people behind the desk were very unfriendly. They forget that we are the customer. I will not coming back to this hotel.

Worst hotel experience ever!!

Checked in, was given room keys, headed to the third floor, unlocked the door and the room was full of people. Went back to the desk got a new room ( wanted one with two beds, only got one with one bed and a pullout sofa) shortly after getting into the new room a staff member brought bedding for the sofa, when we removed it from the bag it was very wet ( not dried all the way after washing hopefully). But the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, despite all the problems
