I stay here often, the staff are always great and the restaurant has great food. It’s always very clean, but could use an update. It’s a bit worn but overall a great place to stay!

Property was average at best. It was ok for one night but the random people inside and outside the hotel made it a bit uncomfortable at night. Also the halls smelled of drugs and food it wasn’t great. Room was nice enough but some areas needed cleaning attention.

Outside looked run down and the surrounding neighborhood was seedy. But the Oarking was good and once inside it was really nice. Clean. Big room. Friendly service. Nice bar resteraunt. Would definitely stay here again if I’m going to a concert at Musikfest Cafe which was a 5 minute drive.

We had a nice day, even though it was short. Everything was very clean and neat. The room was very spacious. I was so happy to see a restaurant downstairs with a bar. We did not go down to the restaurant, but we ordered room service. They also had a room where you can buy snacks and drinks.

Reasonably priced, clean room. The bed pillows were weirdly tiny, and the comforter seemed too small for the bed, but the bed was otherwise comfortable. A little loud, I could hear everything happening in the hallway from the bed.

Let me start with the two things I have no complaints with: The staff and the location (very walkable, enough nearby for food, gas stations, CVS, etc.). When I go away, I look for a place where it’s easy to walk to places, so I don’t have to drive and to have a place to put my head down for the night after a full day of exploring to get ready for my next day of exploring. The latter was abysmal. The hall of the floor I was on smelled strongly of weed. I am overly sensitive to the smell and had to run to my room so I didn’t vomit in the hallway (and yes, the smell permeated into my room). You heard people having screaming fits even if their room was all the way down the hall. The person in the room across from me kept yelling and slamming his door. The pillows were cubed and uncomfortable; the bed was awful and felt like it was nothing but a used mattress that wasn’t taken care of. I woke up every hour for the four nights I was there. The couch was no better. The toilet tank cover was not measured correctly and was too small. The flusher had to be held down the entire time just so it all went down. The toilet cover looked as if it was broken, which made no sense. The shower had to be turned on about a half hour before being used because there was no warm or hot water. And if you did get either? It lasted for maybe two minutes. And no housekeeping. How disgusting. Do the higher-ups not pay attention to what their hotels are like and how being poorly reviewed looks on them?

I have stayed about 5 times as its close to where I need to work. Its comfortable, pleasant guest services person, great personalities in restaurant but the consistent down fall is POOR house keeping. My room was not cleaned overnight and when I checked in there was an empty soda bottle on the floor. The sink had a clogged drain so would puddle and fill up each time I used it. I stayed 2 nights this time and the room was not cleaned or towels changed after the first night. Room 329

Very comfortable beds but they seemed much smaller than a queen size. Also, there were no outlets on the wall side of the bed I slept on which would’ve been nice to plug my phone into. The outlet on the other side of the bed where the night stand was didn’t work. Something was blocking it from being able to plug in to. No matter what temperature we set on the unit it was hot.

2nd Time there
Two issues. My TV didnt work in room 102. I got 1 channel to come in and there was no volume. I was very tired from driving so I went to bed without reporting. Someone left their clothes hanging out of the dryer and on the floor. I didnt need to use it but it was unsightly to see a persons under gar ments and such all over the floor. A house keeping issue more than anything that you might want to police every now and then. The girl at the front desk is very pleasant and love the attached restaurant/bar. Good Breakfast.
