Smells like an ashtrayPosted Sep 28, 2015
Cons: Looks like they are starting renovations. They should also consider staff training/ changes.
We have stayed at many Hampton Inn's in the past and very extremely surprised at the cleanliness, comfort and staff at this location. Our room, which was supposed to be non smoking, smelled like an ashtray. I think they tries to put the A/C all the way up to cover it, which didn't work. The beds were obviously old and very uncomfortable, you could hear everything going on in every room around you and the toilet ran all night long. The bathroom was not cleaned well; there was shower scum and mold in the shower. At 7:45am there was not enough food for breakfast and the staff ignored patrons who asked questions. At the desk when checking out, staff was rude and did not asked about our stay. Completely amazed that Hampton Inn would let this location carry it's name!

Nice hotelPosted Sep 6, 2015
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel make it a joy to stay there.
Cons: Seating outside. The hotel on the grounds so you can enjoy the outdoor fresh air. Could use Fridges in the rooms. A safe would also be good.
Location: A little difficult to find, close to all routes and pkways. Sands Casino, Crystal Caves, Allentown fairgrounds a short driving distance.
We enjoyed our experience here. The staff was very accommodating. Responded quickly when needed. The breakfast was very good choices. Both hot and cold a good verity. The hotel was clean. Even though it was being painted it did not interfere with our stay. They are renovating the property which is already in great condition. Nice indoor pool. The night manager Issac was excellent, very friendly and made you feel like family and not just a client. He should be commended, For his attitude with hotel guests. His friendliness and outgoing personality make Issac a wonderful addition to the hotel staff. The staff in general are very nice and friendly. Always with a smile they great you when you enter and leave the hotel and always a cheary good morning or good evening. Overall I give this hotel a 5 star rating and would highly recommend it.

Hotel better than its ratingPosted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: The friendly staff. The room and housekeeping very good.
Cons: Maybe we could have been given a larger room for 3 adults and 2 children but still satisfied.
Location: Forney Park close by. Many restaurants. Also a WA Was nearby for gas and food.
We were greeted so politely and staff was so helpful with every request. They were doing renovations but still a pleasant atmosphere. Room smelled delightful. Housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast outstanding a d satisfying. I would definitely recommend Hampton Inn to my friends. Had a wonderful experience.
