The hotel was nice and staff were very helpful. However, there was construction in front of the hotel which made it difficult to get to. But once we found a way around the construction it was easy. Plus the bus stop was a 2 minute walk from the hotel. We were able to take the bus to the castles easily with the Füssen card that you get a check-in.

Nice, clean place, good breakfast. A bit expensive. Unfortunately, no fridge in the rooms, which is a bit unexpected for a 4star hotel. No English channels beside the news channel. The lady at the reception (unfortunately I don’t remember her name but I believe she is Bulgarian) is unbelievably friendly and helpful.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful, and were very friendly and charming. Hotel is in a great location close to the train station and town center. We walked to Neuschwanstein Castle, among other great attractions, and less than a mile away is the Austrian border.

I loved Fussen it was so easy to walk around and see the town and what it has to offer. The hotel gave a free card for transport which we used to go and see the castles. We walked all over, we went to see the weir and and walked to the next town which was only 3.5kms away. It had everything we wanted.

Great hotel in Fussen
Nice central location in Fussen, right in the centre and close to local restaurants and attractions. The staff were great and we were given a Fussen card, which gave us free transport to Schwangau. The rooms are nice, we booked a family room and we got two adjoining rooms, which was great. The breakfast was great, good coffee and good Bavarian food. Parking is a bit tight, requires a bit of manoeuvring to get a large-ish car in . They seem to cater to large groups of Chinese tourists that arrive by bus around 6pm or so. So the lobby gets very busy at that time and again in the morning when the buses leave.

Perfectly Located
Beautiful luxry hotel, with very nice spa. Nice large rooms. Very centrally located in Fuessen for walking to any shops or restaurants. Short drive to Neuschwanstein castle.

This place doesn’t worth the money for its outdated rooms and spaces in general. I was told a certain amount for parking, then charged more. Paper cups in the room, not a single glass. No fan (it was super hot, even at night). The big guy at the reception was quite rude. Breakfast was decent. Going back in the area I’d go somewhere else.

Nice hotel in a beautiful town
Great old style hotel. Very convenient for the station and buses. Walking distance to the town sights. Great breakfasts to start the day. On the downside, it was a very noisy room overlooking a fairly busy road and noisy restaurant. The one night I had to go and ask the restaurant to turn the music down at midnight. Also the room was very hot with only 2 windows that could be opened. Apart from that, a nice stay in a lovely town that is well worth visiting

Convenient hotel in Fussen, they supply Fussen Card to take transportation to and from castle region. Room is spacious but dont have AC, but on request they provided a fan. There is no refrigerator, beds are also single beds put together, supermarket right below the hotel males life easier, breakfast is included and it was good.

Nice hotel with a great breakfast. The location was very central. Clean and safe! Either no A/C or it did not work. It was very hot in the room. They did have a fan which helped a bit.

Great location. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is great. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Didn't have an A/C, so you have to ask for a fan, or leave the window open during hot summer nights. The on-premise parking is very convenient, but the entrance and exit ramps are very narrow, so watch out not to hit the walls!

4 Person room - 2 bedrooms and a massive living space in the middle. Room was almost too big 😄. 2 bathrooms, one had a sauna!! Great location, a little annoying to have to catch multiple lifts to the higher floors, but that's a small detail. Breakfast included was wonderful!!

Excellent location. My only issue was that our lovely room was at the front of the property and overlooked a lively restaurant and when I closed the window the room got quite hot as there was not air con. But the staff and room size were first class.

We were only here for a night but loved it. I had two 20 year olds and with me and our room had 3 beds (5 really, two could be split). The bathroom was very nice. The staff was great. The breakfast was awesome! The only drawback is the room had mostly the old style of plug with the 3 prongs in a triangle. It made charging battery packs and devices all at the same time tricky, but manageable. The convenience to the train station after dragging myself up and down a mountain the day before was so worth it! Note on Fuessen: no one takes credit for food. Ensure you have Euros.

Excellent location. Needed to get hold of an iron which was easy from reception, they delivered it to the room for no cost. Simple breakfasts Hot rooms Nice atmosphere but didn't stay long enough to really check everything out.
