Aweful!Posted Dec 24, 2016
The place was very scary for a single mother with a child. I was afraid to sleep the whole night. The first room is not clean, the lock didn't work, neither did the phone. We could not go anywhere else as the options were extremely limited. We did finely get a clean room but I was looking out the peephole every hour to make sure my car was still there.

Very outdated. Our registration was not even on file. Had to pay cash as credit card reader not working. Telephone disconnected. No hairdryer.

Ok for PricePosted Oct 2, 2012
Cons: no visual appeal
The hotel is not very attractive, but is in the process of renovation. For the price acceptable for one night. No facilities for kids.

Terrible StayPosted Apr 28, 2012
They are renovating this hotel. When it rained during my stay the roof leaked and flooded my bathroom I call the front desk at 2 a.m. and they told me to go back to sleep and would give me a key to another room in the morning when they opened up so I could shower. I left and came back in the morning to talk to them. They did refund my money thank god.

Quiet Clean Reasonably PricedPosted Mar 19, 2012
Pros: Location, quiet, cozy.
Cons: No hair dryer. Not a big deal.
Location: Right on main street
The manager was lovely! The room was adequate for the two of us. There was no hair dryer or shampoo or conditioner, but I had brought my own anyway. The temperature of the room was good, as was the cleanliness of the room, the microwave and the refrigerator. It was also quiet. For the price, I think we lucked out! P.S. - there's a 14% room tax in Nebraska! I guess tourists don't vote! ha! We had breakfast at the Homestead which was very good. Overall, a nice stay.

Pleasant stay in AlliancePosted Feb 21, 2012
Pros: Large room and extremely clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleasant to talk with
Cons: Our door needs some fitting, but was secure when we closed it.
Location: Cental location on main drag. Easy to find and get in and out of.
I have stayed at three motels on trips to Alliance and this one was the most pleasant to stay at. The staff were very friendly and outgoing and made sure our stay was a pleasant experience. There are several food places close by so you an choose whereever you want to eat. Our neice from Washington DC was staying at a motel associated with a national chain and paid twice what we did for a room and said our room was bigger, cleaner and nicer than the one she was in. Facility is old and could use some rennovation but we were extremely happy with our stay and will definitely use this facility again

Not Going To Be BackPosted Feb 13, 2012
Pros: The staff seemed nice enough.
Cons: The shower was so dirty that I refused to take a shower.
It was a bitterly cold night and I couldn't get the door unlocked requiring two trips back to the office. The first time was to try a different key and the second time was to tell them I still couldn't get it unlocked even with the new key. Finally, one of the staff used their housekeeping key and after some struggle was able to unlock the door. The room looked OK but the heavy dust on the heater controls was the first sign that the room probably wasn't too clean. I refused to take a shower because it was so grossly covered in soap scum and there was moldy grunge in the grout of the shower tiles. The ice and vending machines were in a room across the driveway from the check-in office and my room was down the alley and around on the back side of the building so utilizing those services was out of the question. After a thorough look at the beds, I decided they appeared to be OK, Since it was late at night, I decided to stay and make the best of it. I won't stay here again nor will I recommend it to anyone else.

Friendly and cheapPosted Jul 21, 2010
The bed was very comfortable and the clerk is very friendly. The parking lot will probably have lots of trucks and semi trailers in it as they have lots of railroad and road workers staying there. The maid service wasn't great, but I am sure you could get more towels if you asked. There is internet in each room. A mimal room but cheap and if you just need a place to sleep, a good place to do it.
