Fair warning this is a 3 star hotel not a 5 star as advertised. For the money there are much better options in the city. Pros: breakfast was excellent. Atrium looks impressive. Ambience for the restaurant in the front of the property (yurt in a nicely landscaped lawn area). Cons: hotel is tired looking and in serious need of renovations. Atrium smells of diesel fumes i suspect being used to power the glass elevators. Rooms have some tech upgrades (electric curtains, lots of light button options, tv and google alexa voice cube) however dismal air-conditioning. The coolest I could get my room was 24 degrees. They did switch my room but same story in the second room despite a visit from maintenence to check the ac. 'It's very small' as per him. Do not stay here if you prefer sleeping in a cool environment.

The views are spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful. Love that each room has its own sauna. Take advantage of the restaurant for lunch or an early dinner. Managing the gondola timing is easy. And if you miss the lower gondola, there a taxis that can take you to the second stop. We had more than enough time to go to the city and make it back before the last gondola.

This hotel was a delight to stay for two nights. Staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The free shuttle to medeu was an excellent addition. The lodge itself was nice and clean, comfortable and the breakfast delivered to your room was a nice touch. We struggled to get the sauna working on the first night but this was fixed within minutes. The restaurant located on site whilst is aesthetically pleasing is not for everyone’s taste. Room serving options were good though. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would return.
