SUPERB! do not miss this gem!
TREMENDOUS! Huge bedroom - very very comfortable beds / great linens / many fluffy bathtowels! / super tea & coffee tray / super shower-room en suite. Gorgeous lounge with sofas, big TV and complimentary port and sherry! THE BEST BREAKFAST! WOW! huge selection of grains, cereals, fruits, teas, jams, conserves, homemade bread, juices ... and the selection for cooked breakfast was GREAT! Kippers! Salmon & eggs! Northumberland Breakfast! etc etc Hostess is tremendous, chatty, lots of good local information. Ideally situated to visit Alnwick Castle (harry potter!) the coast, Lindisfarne, and the moors. DO NOT MISS THIS GEM!

Welcoming and comfortable with a good breakfast
We were very happy with all aspects of our stay. The beds are very comfortable. The whole place is exceptionally clean and bed linen and towels changed mid week. The food was excellent with lots of choice at breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome and although we didn't spend time in the garden we had a view from the window and it is beautiful. Location very close to Alnyick and a short drive to most other places. Would certainly recommend.

Very quiet location but easy access to nearby towns. Very spacious room and large modern bathroom. Very clean and breakfast all that you could ask for with plenty more of choice. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
