"We loved this home! The 5 bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths perfectly fit our family of 9. Upstairs downstairs areas, each with W/D kitchen facilities, were great! Also loved the spacious gathering areas, outside deck, and lakefront backyard with fire pit. No question that we WILL return to this home !"

The Wi-Fi worked great - I worked all week from the house. We come up to visit (usually) at least a couple times per year and are looking forward to staying here again."

"The wife and I took our kayaks and had a great time on Lake Winyah. The house sits right on the lake so it’s very convenient. We caught so many fish. Pike, Walleye, Lg mouth bass, Sm mouth bass, bluegill, bullhead and a crappie. I literally made three casts off the dock and landed a 23” pike. We will be back "

The location is a nice short drive into Alpena and the surrounding area. A beautiful view across the lake, including a wonderful view of the sunrise. And nicely quiet. We highly recommend this rental. Great communication with the host (quick responses and wanted to make sure our stay went well). We will be talking about this trip for years to come and that is in great part to staying at this location. "
