Great location for skiing. Right next to a gondola station and nursery slopes. The staff were lovely and the hotel clean and comfortable.

Excellent mid range hotel

Posted Jan 12, 2016
Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Dinner buffet a bit variable and main problem for us was the lack of child friendly food, but staff always did their best to find plain versions of options etc. Specialities restaurant was included in the price and superb.

Great Location

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The location is excellent. Ski in and ski out which is great. The Hotel is situated on the slopes of Jardin d'Alpin.
Cons: The Hotel could do with room renovation but still comfortable whether this takes place or not
Location: Easy access to Centre of Courchevel 1850 with "Bubble" lift about 100 yards from Hotel and there is a free Bus Service from Centre until 1 am.
This was our second stay at the Mercure in Courchevel. Rooms are comfortable and a good size, compared to some Hotels we have stayed in in the Alps. Staff attentive and professional. The rooms are a bit dated but we understand from speaking with Staff that an update is on the cards. However update or not, we were very happy with the accommodation and facilities.

Good budget (relative to 1850 pricing)family hotel

Posted Apr 7, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Food
Pros Good ski in ski out location on Jardin Alpin (a gentle green run that takes you to the main gondola). Rooms reasonably well laid out for a family with a twin bunk in the entrance hallway for the kids with a door to the main bedroom so you can separate the sleeping spaces. Right next door to a lift that runs to Courchevel centre until 8pm so you can head into town and feed the kids without the additional cost of a taxi. Complimentary hotel pick ups (within ski hours) by arrangement. Not really necessary given location. Free wifi. Cons Breakfast buffet is adequate but quality of food in the evening is not great/poor. Decor is a bit tired. Could do with a refresh but you pays your money and takes your choice, it is Courchevel 1850. Noise seems to travel through floors. May be just a function of clomping ski boots (but strangely not limited to ski hours). Distracting at times but not enough to overly disturb sleep. If the weather is bad the hotel does not offer much. BBC World with a poor reception. Take your tablet or PC with some media. Ski school (ESF enfants village) a lift ride away. Takes 20-25 mins to get there so you need to factor that in to the morning routine for families. Limited parking although spots can be found on the road outside the hotel and up the hill. Overall A well located budget/mid range hotel in an otherwise jaw droppingly expensive resort.

Séjour d'été

Posted Aug 21, 2016
Pros: Le cadre extérieur
Cons: Chambre
