This was for a large family Christmas gathering in Chamonix. For fitting large groups, RPV LaGinabelle is the best option we found. This is in town in the valley and not a ski-on facility on the slopes. If you're there only for skiing, this may not be your optimal choice. But for fully enjoying the Chamonix experience, this was ideal. The "premium" rating is relative, but compared to the other RPV in town, the amenities and comfort are excellent. This is by no way a hotel, but a mini-apartment, with enough commodities (shampoo, soap, towels, TP etc) for about a week. Kitchen includes electric range, microwave, mini fridge, dish washer, toaster and coffee maker, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, around a 6-12 person service of plates and silverware. Other useful trinkets include an orange squeezer. Beds are not Hilton grade but OK. Sleeping on the sofa-lit couch was acceptable. The rooms have regional Savoyard decorative touches, breakfast area, and are overall very functional albeit cramped. The complex consists of Four individual 4 story buildings, with ours (Flegere) being the most scenic. Flegere building has 26 units of various sizes, with the ground floor units and the 4th floor rooms feeling slightly cooler than the other Chalets (It's all central heating and we had little control of the thermostat, not that we really needed it). There is a coin-operated Laundromat just outside the hotel parking lot (20 yards away), several ski rental shops, restaurants and breakfast
