Excellent Housekeeping and Friendly, Helpful Staff

Posted Jan 1, 2018
Pros: I appreciated the cleanliness and the ease of interacting with staff, who greatly contributed to our comfortable and pleasant stay.
Cons: The noise from the children that run around the hotel can be managed by designating quite floors or parts of floors as quiet zones.
Location: It's just off of Exit 11 of 400, easy to get to with easy acess to shopping, restaurants, movies and south to the attractions in midtown and downtown
This is a very clean hotel - public spaces, corridors, rooms, restaurant, etc. Our room was as clean after housekeeping as it was he day we arrived. The staff is very helpful and friendly - they strive to make your say pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is worth the expense - loads of variety and something for everyone. The restaurant staff aims to please, too.

not a good experience

Posted Dec 11, 2017
Pros: the room was comfortable
Cons: free continental breakfast.
Location: nothing.
at the time I enter into the room, there were hair in the bathroom floor. I was extremely tire as I had a cancel flight 10 before boarding the plane and driving for more than one hour was too tire to go back to the desk. it was not a big deal as the bed was clean. on Saturday as my flight got change to depart on sunday, I decide to go and explore and just after I left the hotel I found out that they had open an authorization on my card for 400$, MMM... that I left for incidentals only as my reservation was prepaid, very disappointed. called the hotel and the FD said she could take care of that! that her supervisor was going to call me back, an hour later call again was place in for over 25min.. couldn't wait any more call again nobody ever answer the phone. at 4 when I got back, I asked to talk to the supervisor, who know about the issue but was not fixing the problem until that moment. left to my room thinking that the issue was being resolve, next morning at check out ask if problem was fix and the FD again did know what to do or how to get it fix.... call her supervisor ,who at no point came to talk to me, I ask for her to come out, after a couple of minute she came and blame it on system failure.. apologize and give me a folio with adj made and authorization code for me to follow up with my bank and said they had couple of new people. as previously worked in hotel you do not leave FD agent by themselves without making sure they are properly trained.

amazing hotel

We loved our stay at the hotel. Even though it was fully booked, it was still organized. The fresh smell of the rooms was an added pleasant feature.

Perfect location for what I wanted.

Pros: The location
Everything was great except for the construction of the new bar and restaurant. Would like to come back when it is finished.

Convenient to restaurants, shopping and walking

Posted Sep 29, 2017
Pros: Location. Ability to go for a long walk down the sidewalk. Concierge room.
Cons: General hotel and room conditions.
Location: North Point Mall. Wildflour Café for lunch.
We stayed at this hotel while our floors were being refinished at ho me. I did not know it was also under renovation. This meant the restaurant had been transferred to a large room; front desk set up in a temporary spot, etc. Honestly, it is time for renovation. The elevator creaked; our ironing board would not stay up; our toilet had to be checked because it would not quit running...etc. But, assuming they are checking the whole hotel and not just the lobby, it should be much better. The pool areas were very nice. The concierge room was well stocked and the breakfast lady was extremely pleasant. It seemed pretty crowded with a weekend wedding crowd and business folks during the week.
