During our two-night stay, we liked that the motel is very close to Pizza Hut and Penny's Diner, and not far from the university. But even though the breakfast was free, we preferred to eat out the second morning. And we never did understand why most of our towels disappeared and did not return, forcing us to ask for replacements. Nevertheless, we'll probably stay there again on our next trip to Alpine because it is indeed probably the best value in town.

It's clean, quiet, mostly well-maintained. The "night latch" on my door had been previously ripped out, and was secured with only tiny screws into the moulding -- completely useless as anything but a noisemaker. The "free" breakfast is adequate, but barely. Internet worked well.

Not bad, could be better.

Not a bad stay. Good for the price actually. Didn't care for the sign in the breakfast area telling patrons to not remove food from the breakfast area. There are times when I prefer to return to the room with an apple/banana or yogurt or what have you and dine in peace and watch the news I prefer to watch. The attendant looked on like a warden looking to move up the ladder or so it seemed. Room lighting a little hokey. No complaints otherwise.

There was no box of tissues, too few towels, no alarm clock, no phone, the chairs and carpet were dirty, one chair at the desk was broken, poor lighting, nothing pretty, damaged walls, way overpriced. We stayed at a really nice Comfort Inn the next night that was $40 cheaper and much nicer. I would say this room should go for $60 per night.

Ever room should have a box of tissues, if not you can always contact the front desk for more. As for towels you could always request more towels at the front desk. We do provide a wake-up call when requested. There is a phone in every room. As for been dirty and the chairs broken can you please provide in what room you did stay as other guest has not complain about this issue. Just a reminder that our hotel is the 2nd lowest in all Alpine Texas. Thank you for staying with us.
