Great Hotel in Bolzano

Posted Jun 13, 2016
Pros: Great view form rooftop swimming pool Very cool bar and lobby area Excellent breakfast Comfortable and clean bedrooms
Cons: Reception staff need to be more pleasant, they should be focused on their guest rather than talking between themselves.
Location: Only drawback is that taxi ride required to get to ton centre
Overall a very good hotel with great facilities. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Great hotel but not the best location

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean, friendly staff and great breakfast
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: It is in an industrial area so I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a car. There is lots of parking in the centre of the city.
Enjoyed the hotel but A/C was not working properly and the room was extremely warm.

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: The staff at reception were great and great wellness centre
Cons: Found room a little to warm, and could not lower room temp on thermostat Had to keep windows open
Location: Location of hotel is little out of town in industrial area Which is only problem, but close to transport
The hotel complex is a great place to stay at , Staff were very helpfull and helped with all our needs Wellness centre was excellent and very relaxing after a long day out Only problem is the hotel location little way out from town but bus stop Is just outside hotel for easy public transport

Excellent accommodation with air conditioning

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Modern, spacious, on bus route into town.
Location: Bus stop a few yards away which takes you into town - easier than driving and finding parking. 5 minute walk to supermarket and McDonalds.
Stayed 2 nights in July. Excellent condition, spacious room and very welcome air conditioning, especially as the temperature outside was 34 degrees! Options to park at hotel for price, outside on the road for a price during the day or free on road parking opposite. Comfortable bed, lovely bath/shower room.

Nice Hotel, weird location

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Location: Once you are in the town of Bolzano, proper, it is a cute, Tyrolian town. Cute shops, good restaurants, a nice place to stroll.
The hotel itself is good. The room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was good, the indoor pool was pretty, but cold. The odd thing is that the hotel is not actually in Bolzano, it is in Bolzano Sud, which is a couple of miles outside the center of town and is very industrial. Fortunately, it is not that far, but returning at night definitely take a cab or drive, it is not a great place for walking. The other thing is not so much an issue with the hotel as it is with Expedia. We booked a room that could contain a family of 4 and we confirmed that through the website. When we got to the hotel, they said that Expedia had not confirmed a family room, only a room for 2 adults and that we had to pay 30 more euros.

Pros: Large,comfortable room
Cons: It would be good to have a tea-coffee maker in room.
Location: You can park overnight car free in nearby street. InterSpar hypermarket is at walking distance.

This hotel is way overdue for renovation.

Posted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: The bar and lounge was nice.
Cons: Renovate and get rid of the obvious smoking residue.
The staff somewhat compensated for a deplorably out of date physical structure.
