A great hotel right in town. Large, comfortable and clean rooms. Good restaurant and bar on site with a very good breakfast buffet. I highly recommend the Krone.

Great for bikers
If you like biking this is the location to be at. They are very well organized for that. We expect something completely different but overall was a good stay. A bit overpriced for what it is.

Great location but some things need improvement
Location is great. Lack of ironing board is not great on a business trip. Towels removed, but not replaced - slight oversight by the staff. Carpet in room was a little manky around the edges. All that said, I will still be back.

Hotel great. Staff not so much.
The hotel was great. The staff not so much - especially the manager (I think!). They were shutting for two weeks after we left and it felt like they were looking forward to the break

ighly recommend a stay at KRONE
The location, just steps from the historic center, is perfect. The room was large, quiet, and clean. The bed was the most comfortable of our 3 week trip. The breakfast staff is friendly and efficient and the buffet is extensive and includes both hot and cold choices. The stay included a Brixen card providing free entry to several museums. We would absolutely stay again.

Great stay!
Very young but helpful staff, great location, good condition,spacious and clean room with his and hers sink in a massive bathroom! Decent breakfast and happy hour ,good facilities (sauna included!) Unexpected perk was the free brixen card. Will definitely recommend staying there.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was very good. Centrally located in a great town to explore. Easy to find from the Train Station by foot. Nice Wellness Center with Saunas. Would go back again anytime. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean.

Modern amenities old time charm
Our room and balcony overlooking a garden was modernly update, beautiful and immaculately clean. There were lovely touches throughout the hotel including art work, a rooftop spa and deck, evening complementary appetizers. The only part of our stay that didn't live up to the rest of the hotel was the breakfast--it was fine, just not the same quality everything else. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Brixen!
I stayed for 4 nights, doing family research. I found the rooms very clean & comfortable, the staff (including the cleaning service- one of whom offered to let me use her cell phone when mine went haywire) very friendly & helpful, and it was conveniently located in the city center and about a 5 minute walk to the train/bus station. Have nothing bad to report!

It was a last minute booking. The hotel is well located in the town centre and the room was clean even if dated and the need very comfortable for good night sleep. Did not try the breakfast as we preferred to have it at a local bar.

Overall the hotel was good. The room seemed newly refurbished. Large bathroom. The front desk staff were courteous enough but not very forth coming with information ie wifi was down. They did not know when it would be working again. Not all staff were well informed about things at the hotel. Location to find the hotel via car was tricky, but once found, the location was great for exploring the town.

If you are attending a conference at the Forum in Bressanone, this is the closest hotel to it. It is a nice and comfortable hotel. The food at the restaurant is very nice too. The internet is switched off at night which is a nuisance if you are catching up with your emails although it comes back on again at 7 am so you will be busy at breakfast time!

Great place to stay!
This hotel is great! This is the second time we have stayed here and found it to be consistently good. The hotel is convenient to the old city/downtown of Brixen. It is easy to walk to everything and parking is conveniently located under the hotel. It is also close to the train station. The rooms are large and clean and the balconies have great views. The hotel is close to a good selection of shopping, bars, restaurants and attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us with every request. They have bicycles available and even recommended a route for us to take and provided train information on how to take the train back if we decided not to bike back from our destination. The furniture is slightly dated in the rooms but the cleanliness, the size of the rooms, convenience of the location and helpfulness of the staff more than make up for it. We would recommend this hotel and stay here again as well.

Good hotel that needs to determine its audience
Stayed in summer, which is not high season in Brixen/Bressanone at all, so some of the alpine/ski-lodge feel seemed odd. It's a beautiful city in the summer so I'll probably be back and it's a good hotel, but there were some issues. I was there on a weekend mostly to work. Couldn't get A/C to work on some hot days and staff wasn't much help. Wireless internet (supposedly included) was basically non-functional, so needed to use the wired, which also wasn't much good, but at least worked a bit, but it's shut off at midnight(!) so don't expect to work/surf late. The question for the hotel is, are you a spa hotel catering to pleasure seekers? If so, why are no spa amenities available most of Saturday or all day Sunday, and bike rental (which was a highlight when I stayed in 2010) not available? If you're a mixed-use/business friendly hotel, then the net and the desk needs to be improved -- worst chair I've ever sat in; had back pains for two days afterwards. Nice balcony (despite not booking a balcony room) with amazing view and great bathroom. Good hotel bar (but closed during day on Sunday). This visit I'd give a 3 to; my last visit was a 4 or 5, so I'll average since I didn't review last time, and give a 4 but with some misgivings.

I rate the service low because of the front desk being closed from between midnight to 7:30 am. It is therefore not possible to check out before 7:30. That prevented me from taking an early train. Also the e-mail connection failed during the night preventing me to do necessary correspondence.

Wonderful hotel in Brixen/Bressanone
The hotel was FANTASTIC! It is centrally located in the city. The staff could not be more friendly. We can't wait to return to this little gem! If you are staying in the area - you should definitely stay here!

Beautiful hotel!
The hotel was very clean and up to date. The rooms are larger and our room had a huge balcony with a view of the old town and the surrounding mountains. The lobby of the hotel and hotel bar were also very nice with a neat indoor koi fish pond. The location in the old part of the town was perfect too and it was a quick walk to see the sights and to the restaurants.

Great hotel, great price!
I stayed in the Goldene Krone hotel for 4 nights in February. I was on a business trip, so was up early and out late every night. The hotel was comfortable, spotless, conveniently located within walking distance of anywhere I wanted to go. The breakfast was very nicely prepared, the staff is very friendly (and fully tri-lingual - Italian, German, and English), and all for a very nice price, even in the height of ski season! One warning: the internet does shut down at midnight (and it costs 0.08 Euro cents per minute), so if you are a late night worker, this is something that you will need to keep in mind.

Couldn't be bettered
this hotel had it all - great staff, clean rooms, decent food, central location and a free spa! Then they gave us a Brixen card - free museums, trains, cable cars - for the duration of your stay: saved us a fortune. Further - we travel in a precious classic car and recaptionist took one look at it and volunteered to lock it in the secure garage for a very nominal sum - other hotels cost a fortune. Bressanone is a really nice place - great places to see, eat, good shopping. All in all a great stay!

We had a comfortable stay. The only drawback is that our room is close to storage room for cleaning staff so it is a little noisy early in the morning. Breakfast was good but no variation. All the staffs are very friendly, and helpful. Overall we would recommend this hotel.

Prenotata camera con balcone, con molta sorpresa aprendo la porta finestra troviamo il balcone con le impalcature pieno di calcinacci e altra roba da cantiere= inutilizzabile, cosa molto grave hanno tolto il divisorio del balcone tra questa e un altra stanza, mettici pure che la finestra (rotta)non si chiudeva ci potevamo ritrovare estranei dentro la camera, hotel 4 stelle ma che 4 stelle non è, mancanza del doppio cuscino, mancanza dei set di cortesia, mancanza di ciabatte, mancanza dei saponi. Colazione nella media zona in pieno centro ben servita da negozi.

Struttura molto bella, stanza grandissima, bagno molto ampio, posizione ottima, direttamente al centro di Bressanone. Purtroppo in stanza non c'è il condizionatore, ma solo un piccolo ventilatore e questa estate è stata molto calda. Purtroppo la finestra dava in strada e spesso si sentivano rumori anche notturni.

Mooi hotel met goede keuken
Aangezien het duidelijk was dat ik na 20:00 zou aankomen, tot 4x toe geprobeerd het hotel te bellen en werd telkens afgebroken. Teneinde raad een mail gestuurd en daar een reactie op gekregen. Aangezien de keuken tot 22:00 open was zou het geen probleem hoeven te zijn. Mogelijk iets om bij de bijzonderheden te vermelden. Aangezien ik met een groot en hoog voertuig onderweg was kon ik niet bij het hotel parkeren omdat deze auto niet in de parkeergarage past en dus ergens op straat moest worden geparkeerd waar het gezien de zaterdagavond erg druk was. Uiteindelijk op 1,5 km van het hotel een plek kunnen vinden in een woonwijk. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd en de kamer was prima in orde.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel in the city center, 15min walk from main station. Nice and fresh hotel. Very good and helpful staff. A bit expensive but ok. Will definitely go there again!
