Lovely boutique hotel. Rooms are small but have everything you need for pleasant stay. Would definitely visit again.

Nice & Pleasant

Posted Mar 3, 2017
Pros: Convenient for in/out of Bolzano area. Room super clean & comfy bed. Excellent lighting in room. Staff super friendly & helpful. Free parking.
Cons: Breakfast needs more choices. Very little was offered. Way overpriced at 9 euro.
Location: The entire area is loaded with things to see & do. Bolzano is a must see charming city.
About 20 minutes walk from city center. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby & great town for sightseeing. Dolomites is close and drive able. Supermarket across the street.

clean hotel

The hotel is about 4 km from the railway station, a 20 minute walk to city center. The room did not have a coffee set up that is commonly found elsewhere and to facial tissues not provided. On a slightly expensive side ($125/day) considering the location

Clean, comfortable hotel close to old city

Posted Aug 15, 2016
Pros: Clean rooms and friendly staff
Cons: Better English language skills and better restaurant access in the evenings - longer hours, Sunday evening, etc
Location: A bit off the beaten path for the downtown (15 minute walk to old city), wine cellar, cafes and bakeries close by.
With a family of 4 and I was concerned about having enough room but...all was great. The rooms were bright, clean and our room had a balcony. Be sure to inquire about West or East facing for the balcony as the heat can be intense in Italy later in the day.

Quiet well organised hotel in Gries district

Posted Aug 6, 2016
Pros: Staff, food and welcome
Cons: Sometimes wifi signal variable in strength in our room -even one part of room better than another so consistent strong wifi
Location: Bolzano neat if not quite spectacular town but Dolomites nearby truly spectacular . Scenery , hiking and river pursuits top notch
Room clean , quiet, nicely air conditioned. Food very good value and excellent quality with authentic local slant . 10 mins walk from old town . Recommended.

Well-kept, clean hotel

Small, comfortable, clean, affordable room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The outside balcony with our room was nice too. It's a little off the beaten track for those walking from the train station, but doable.

visit in wine country of Northern Italy

Posted May 5, 2016 on Hotels
it was about 1 mile plus from the old town Bolzana where everything is happening. Or one could take a bus maybe a taxi? never found out. We just walked to restaurant. The hotel was very nice and very friendly but the rooms sooo small. We were never offered an upgrade but I read on their own website that for an additional fee on the 4th floor they had larger rooms.
